we flew with this same airline same type of plane last year and has an aborted take off was skidding and came to a stop at the end of the runway

I am interested in buying or long-term lease of land in the Hua Hin / Cha-am area (within 30 km of Hua Hin Airport) to build a paved airstrip and hangers and clubhouse. Will need a 1 kilometer long and 60 meter wide strip of land which I will grade and pave. Must be accessable by road and have relatively good approaches at either end and be relatively flat. Prefer west of Hua Hin bypass road or west of Cha-am. Anyone know of any land available that would work? I am open to aviation enthusiasts as partners as well.

I couldn't disagree with you more, and thats just from personal experience. As a general rule now I never drink with English people. Of the experiences I've had, the way the English act when drunk truly warrants not only a stabbing, but a long and painful torture session as well. Luckily I'm not of the disposition to dish out this sort of punishment, but the only punch i've thrown since I was 13 years old has been at an soused Englishman. Never before have I seen a group of people willing to come into your house, drink your alcohol, eat your food and then begin to insult and berate you for absolutely no reason. This is not an isolated incident, this has happened to me with 4 different people and I have heard similar stories from others. What I find even more amazing is that the next day they act as if nothing had happened. When confronted they just say "oh, I was drunk, I don't even remember what I said" like thats a reasonable excuse.

Wake up Brits; lay of the sauce if you can't avoid being an as#hole on it.

Y'all should know by now, it is a very rare month of October when there are no pictures of flooded streets in Bangkok.

Can anyone give me any idea how long this will all last as i am arriving BKK 20th oct., getting worried.

Why stay a minute longer in BKK than you absolutely have to? That applies, whether it's flooded or not. People are a strange species. They give highest property values to the worst areas to live. Example: I know of a beautiful new house on 4 rai with unobstructed views in every direction, no flood danger, clean air and water, no crime, no noise, friendly neighbors for 4.5 mil.baht. Even if a such house in BKK existed (not possible) it would have a value perhaps 10 times that amount. Birds, rodents, reptiles all move to places that are reasonably comfortable (or at least non-flooded) - people, with their big brains move to places that are yuksville. go figure.

Because some people have a life in bangkok and happen to work here not a qestion smelling fresh air living in the hills reading the news paper all day long picking money from a tree !!

Well i for one will be leaving to malaysia too i find it much better to conduct business there after 13 years of putting up with this cr$p over here time to move on to a place im more welcome

they promised every single world cup game ive seen one so far uninterupted why cant they dedicate one channel for the world cup to at least give us the choise on wheather we would like to watch all the heads of state walking around in and out of the party as usual no messages running long the bottom to let us know when its back on and no repeats of the games ????????
