I tired to get a taxi at MBK, and none of the drivers would use meters, or they refused to take me to where I wanted to go.

They tired to charge 400-500 baht, for a ride that should cost less than 200.

I hope they continue to crack down on these guys.

I was Nha Trang, Vietnam for 6 weeks in November and December. Russians make up about 95% tourist there. It even seems the Vietnamese don't like them, but they like the money....but not all. The hotel I was staying at, would actually tell the walk-in Russians customers that they were full, and had no rooms available, but I knew they did.

I was shocked how rude some of Russian people are. Maybe because they are literally buying bottles of vodka for breakfast. After saying that, I did meet a few really nice Russians in Nha Trang.

I noticed a HUGE decline of tourist from November and December! At least 50% drop in Nha Trang, Vietnam.. So that means several thousand tourist drop in just a few weeks.

A fine, and let go...you got to kidding me!

Sounds like more Thai corruption...pay Thai officials, and let go.

This is terrible! Attacking a flight attendant with boiling water, and threatening to blow up a plane, and all they get is a fine!

Thailand education system is a joke! One of my students who failed my final exam, could not even read Thai, even though he was in M4 level M4=Sophomore high school level. I still had to pass him.

I'm shocked they even made the top 100!

I went last year, and I enjoyed the festival.

If you're in BKK, then it's a weekend trip.

Cheap! I think the guest house near the festival was 350 baht.

What's sad is that the students don't think it's wrong to copy or cheat.

Thailand makes work permit/visa's sooooo difficult for teachers!

One lady at that embassy, is a lady from hell. She should be fired. She is the main lady who first looks through your documents before you talk to the officers. She as issues with farangs! I would not recommend Singapore to do any immigration documentations.

I dated one Muslim lady in Ayutthaya, and no way in hell, would I change join the intolerant Muslim faith just to marry her. If you want to be a Muslim, then go for it...if not, then marry her without becoming Muslim, or run. I say run! What does your family think? Many women to choose from.
