Being from the States, Thais have to go through hell to get a visa or even try to get a visa, so I have mixed emotions on this issue.

imagine the hell of applying for the visa to the US then the hell of security entering the country then there's the hell of being there.

 

I went to the US where Pittsburgh is. It seemed to be a much nicer country than the US that you go to. The immigration staff at Atlanta were polite and friendly, and my travel authorisation came over the internet in the space of a few minutes.

We are coming to Thailand ( Baan Suan Lalana in Jomtien area) for 5 months We will not have a vehicle of any kind and I have a bad knee Is transport to and from the area a problem We stayed there once before 6 yrs ago but my son had a truck. We will be on our own a few weeks at a time. Worried about getting groceries in etc.

I've been looking online for E-readers such as Kobo Sony etc in Pattaya area. I want to get my son one for Christmas , Can't really see any but may not be looking at the right stores Should I just Bring one with me when I come for our 5 month stay in December? Thanks for reading.
