  1. To make a simple analogy I would say this... the yellow Mob has been acting like a schoolyard bully .... but the rest of kids have had enough and are about gang up on the "Bully" and kick his YELLOW ASS.

Yes, a very simple analogy, except that the "bully" is now dead. What should happen next?

...Just wait for the next bully and repeat procedure until no more bullies.

  2. When you prevent millions of people from exercising their voting rights you are bound to make a few bad ones angry. Killing someone is always wrong but he knew the risks of his actions and paid the price.

Spot on. If you had groups of people in the USA, UK or many other "developed" countries illegally stopping people from exercising their right to vote, I'd venture that the repercussions would be severe and perhaps also lead to deaths.

And another thing: the yellow shirts talk only about corruption (and Suthep is just as corrupt) but what they are doing - ie, stopping people from voting - I'd argue is worse that corruption. The yellow shirts deserve everything they get.

How can someone vote if there are not opposition candidate ? you think is a fair election ?
The opposition are boycotting the election by their own choice ... screw them. The election commission should already be planning to ban this party after what they have done. The madman Suthep is going to jail where he can spend his golden years.... or better ...half year.

  3. Heads will be getting cracked on election day .... and I gotta say .. it's been 3 months too long. Let the people vote. Oh yeah... that weak vote buying argument is tired. Every government buys votes in one way or another. The Unions in the USA are always bribed to vote one way or another. Find another excuse for lawlessness.

  4. You have no idea what you are talking about. Check your own history."Ability was appointed Prime Minister of Thailand on 7/ 17 December 2008 after the Constitutional Court of Thailand removed Prime Minister "Somchai Wongsawar" from office. He was APPOINTED not elected.Sent from my SM-N900 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app
He was appointed by elected MPs after a vote at Parliament, goodness gracious, how can you be so uninformed?I see, you are quoting a Wikipedia article as proof, well, here's Yingluck's article:
Dear me!, she was also appointed! She wasn't elected!111one111!! facepalm.gif
I really dislike know it alls on message boards. If you read the history you will know that the only reason Abhisits party had the majority in 2008 was after intervention by the military strong arming several MP'S to switch parties thus giving his party the majority to select him. It was a total miscarriage of political power. Abhisits party has not won an election in over 10 years and normally never has had a majority. If your going to pretend you know it all ... get educated first.Sent from my SM-N900 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app

  5. Lets not forget the things the Yellow shirts have done in the last 2.5 months of protests....

    Destroying government property

    Brutally Assaulting Law Enforcement Personel

Attack RED shirt protesters near the University

Cutting water and power to hospitals and police stations

Threatening the lives of the PM and her Cabinet

    Disrupting business in Bangkok

Damaging Thailand's reputation in the world

They are acting like Terrorists .....

They should be treated as such (not all of them but the worst need to be punished)

Yingluck has used the utmost restraint and not allowed police to carry weapons...

Now lets see who is the most rational in this predicament.

And the red thugs in 2010?

Different time and different problem ...its 2014 now and this PM was elected by the people.

In 2010, I was living in BKK .....the REDS DID get nasty when the government (headed by an UN-ELECTED PM) starting shooting the peaceful demonstrators.

    Apples and Oranges.

You have no idea what you are talking about

    Please learn about Politics

The people do not vote in the Government

    The people vote in MP's

The group with the most Mps create a government

At that time the government was created by the majority of MP's

So they where elected by elected MP's

So they where the elected government

Please stop trying to re write history and the polictical system

You have no idea what you are talking about. Check your own history.

"Abihisit" was appointed Prime Minister of Thailand on 7/ 17 December 2008 after the Constitutional Court of Thailand removed Prime Minister "Somchai Wongsawar" from office.

  6. Not sure if this has been posted before but lots of speculation (just speculation, I might add, hope there's not going to be a witch-hunt for the wrong person) that the culprit is one of the Navy SEALs previously arrested by police. The grenade is of the same rare type used in the attack on Friday, so bomber was likely the same guy or team for both attacks.

    Juxtaposed with the arrested SEAL:

If this is Real .... Suthep is DONE.

Its all over if media can put this guy in his security detail .....

    I am crossing my fingers.

  9. Wouldn't it be very nice if the election commission banned The party of the antigovernment protesters.

If they try to disrupt elections in February their party should absolutely be banned for life.

If there is ever been in abuse by a government political party.... the conduct of the yellow shirts have crossed over the line of decency for two months. And there getting away with it.

Hopefully when their leader is eventually put in jail he will be denied bail because he is certainly a risk to flee. He has disregarded orders to turn himself in back in early December.

No Bail for that LUNATIC SUTHEP.

  10. What kind of organization targets the young child of a political leader to force that child's mother to leave office? Yingluck has used incredible restraint dealing with these Terrorists. What do you think would happen to Americans if they tried to storm the White House?

  11. Suthep knows that his party will never win another election. The reason he is taking these extreme steps is to cause the military to step in and take over. These thugs are even beating up the press who are reporting the news accurately.

  12. Hard to feel sorry for Judd ...he should be out walking every day to lose weight and inprove his health. Walking is Free.

I used Bar soap to wash my hair too .....I own a house and have a nice pension.

Stop Whining...you are not stuck here .....you just want a handout here.

  13. I have a similar problem. My current US passport expires in Jan 2014. My thai visa expires on 8 Jan 2014. I have already picked up my new passport a few weeks ago. I was told as long as I don't leave Thailand, I am ok. In Jan I can present both passports when leaving Thailand and thus activating the new passport. This advice was given by a Pattaya visa shop? Am I breaking any LAWS here?
