  1. I'm guessing that they're finding that as some people have already received a first jab then they have more available than anticipated and have to do something with it before expiry date. Hence the "come in tomorrow" messages for those that were lower down the priority list.
  2. Well I got appointments from 2 of those with no problem And my wife signed up for BCCT last Friday and got an appointment (1 week later). And also one at BPH which she signed up for earlier but sent them a reminder and got an appointment the next day.
  3. You're just being a keyboard warrior for no reason other than to inflate your own ego. Your whole aim seems to be avoiding doing 90 day reports and for that reason alone you are going to schedule travel out of Thailand, you can go see these other countries any time, there's nothing to be scared about in doing a 90 day report. You can even do it online so no need to get out of bed.
  4. AZs optimum efficacy is at 12 weeks on the first jab so hold out to that before your second.
  5. I think those that are complaining are just not being proactive enough to find sources and register and get appointments. All Farangs I know that have been jabbed have had 2 separate appointments and so had to cancel 1, including my missus who qualified in the 40+ category.
  6. So you don't think that leaving Thailand every 90 days is going to cost you a few thousand dollars? Think about it, that's 4 times per year. I don't think it's me that's being stupid here!

  8. But I'm not speculating about the bank funds of people that I know that are using agents because they don't have the funds. And if you have the funds, why use an agent.
  9. How much of that agent's fee was paid to the IO because you didn't have the legitimate requirement of funds in the bank? That's what makes it non-legitimate.
  10. I'm not sure novocaine is available over the counter (first read about it in a Tom Sharpe book) but lidocaine (2%) is readily available and xylocaine (5%) but harder to find.
  11. But isn't it ironic that they brought in the new rule of having the 800k in the bank for 3 months after your extension to STOP the use of agents for visa renewals but now there are MORE using agents because of this. I don't think it's going away anytime soon, however non-legitimate it is.
  12. So you planned on spending a few thousand dollars to avoid doing something that costs nothing and takes 10 minutes of your time?
  13. I have a couple of mates who have had these problems and especially in the Covid area when tenants stopped paying rent and they can't get rid of them. But in the long run they've made money, especially on the increase in property value over the years.
  14. Or an immigration officer and solve your visa problems at the same time!
  15. Sorry, I don't understand what you're trying to say. providers contracts in the government NIC scheme?
  16. Agents can take care of the lack of funds for you, and is the method preferred by Immigration! Well said.
  17. So where does that say foreigners shall be charged more than Thais?? It merely gives a definition of what "Foreigner(s)" are.
  18. You'll just have to make do with the cheap black stuff like the rest of us proletariat have to.
  19. Lots of Meiji at the sevens around me (0.83 litre bottles) but I don't like it, much prefer Dutch Mill. A new one, Chokchai, has appeared, but it's a bit waterey.
  20. I tried to continue paying for my Thai health insurance. I was working notice at the time and still had a valid work permit so they told me to come back when the work permit has been cancelled. When I went back they told me mai dai, you don't have a work permit! So don't count on it.
  21. You won't need to rock up, just send a medical certificate along with the carer.
  22. Bangkok Pattaya Hospital will not return the money but will give you credit for next time you need their services.
  23. So if the doctors are not attending to a patient that can be billed they are not paid?
