  1. SBN Internet on South Road on the right heading from Third towards Second, about 50 metres down.
  2. Dutch Mill for me and mine. Meiji tastes like water, or low fat Dutch Mill.
  3. Even the UK AZ is not accepted if administered outside of UK. EU or USA.
  4. My mate's Luk Krueng son did that, for only 2 months during school summer holidays and got exemption from National Service.
  5. Not if it's the first time they have ever visited Thailand. Immigration would not be aware that they were here as Thais previously if they rock up with a UK passport.
  6. The UK passport authority don't put that in, must be Thai Immigration .
  7. What country I asked? Are you Thai? Your answer suggests not. UK passports have never had that.
  8. My mate was asymptomatic, his insurance wouldn't cover the hospital bill so they kicked him out after 4 days to spend the rest of his quarantine period in a hotel.
  9. The latest news is that UK will not recognise the validity of double vaccinated people from another country even thought the UK supplied the vaccine to that country! https://uk.news.yahoo.com/england-covid-travel-rules-spark-050040502.html And I also read last week that England will not require a "vaccine passport" to enter theatres / pubs / events, etc. but Scotland will. Edit: note that para that says if you dome from a red country (Thailand) you have to travel to an amber country (if they will let you in) and then to UK and do the required quarantine and testing periods in both countries.
  10. No!! Keep re-testing the negatives until you get a (false) positive so you can earn more money!
  11. As it would be a Thai person or company selling the land / condo then yes, it WOULD be up to a Thai person. I'm not saying I'd expect a seller to sell for less to a Thai (although that currently happens extensively), What I'm saying is that the price will be set higher for a foreigner so a Thai person would not be willing, or able, to afford that higher price. So it would be the Thai sellers that are pricing other Thais out of the market, not the foreigners that are buying.
  12. "Easing of property laws for foreigners should not price Thais out of the market" That would be up to the Thais wouldn't it? As it will be Thais selling land or condo units in the 51%, then if other Thais are priced out of the market, it is because the Thais are asking more from Farangs than their fellow countrymen are willing to pay. So don't blame foreigners for pricing Thais out of the market!
  13. They will still be able to influence AGMs with a much smaller percentage than that as there will be owners that don't show up or appoint proxies. The condo I'm in in virtually controlled by someone with 20% ownership as only around 34% of ownership turns up at an AGM
  14. I first read about this problem in relation to UK vaccinating teenagers, which they have been doing for some months now.
  15. It'll all change once the bars are open again and we have something better to do than sit in front of a computer.
  16. Exactly what I thought, hence the mis-spelling jibe which I thought he'd done deliberately to get the joke rolling?
  17. Not sure myself but is it the one named after a famous golfer that most of my mates seem to quote these days?
  18. They will probably tell him to go to Bangkok Bank to get the letter!! No joke but something similar happened to me with TMB!!
