Probably because it's not insufficient, it's perfectly acceptable to DLT.

I'm not a member of BCCT.

2.6% alcohol content tells me it's not beer. And with such a low content the tax is really low, so they should be cheaper than real beer.
-
Of course they do, otherwise there would already be widespread purchase of land in Thailand by foreigners.

Changes to laws on foreigners owning land set for 2022
LongTimeLurker replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
They were talking about this when I first moved to Thailand...................................26 years ago. -
Import duty was supposed to have been slashed with the ASEAN Free Trade Agreement. And how did that work out?

I like old school, I like to see and touch physically what I am about to buy to make sure there are no mistakes. Works well in bars too. ????
-
Local brewers will never allow that to happen.

So the "beer" with no beer in it is more expensive than the beer WITH beer in it?

Stay and get drunk sounds more like it!! But if this reduction in tax makes imported beers cheaper than Thai beers they it's not likely to come into effect as someone in Boon Rawd will have something to say about it.

My wife was offered an Astrazeneca jab through BCCT but she got Pfizer from BHP first. Last week a mate's wife had the Az jab courtesy of BCCT after only registering a few days before.

A mate of mine put his Thai wife on the list last week and got an immediate appointment.

Chanote Copy not at Land Office

Don't worry, those nice people at the Land Office will be able to sort out any problems for you for an appropriate fee. -
It takes the dealers 3 months to be able to register a new car so by the time he asks you for the paperwork than you should already have your visa and your home sorted.
-
They never did put YOUR address in the WP, as you can easily move, they put the address of the company you work for.
-
If you get your letter of residence from your Embassy, then it does.
-
You think wrong. No WP needed to buy any kind of car.

I have been impressed, nay amazed!, at the vaccine rollout for Farangs after all the early doom and gloom posts on here about being able to get a vaccine. Most people I know have been vacced twice and the rest once from the early AZ rollout. Thai wives of UK citizens can contact BCCT and get registered for, and receive, vaccinations.
