  1. Is this man for real. Did he really graduate from Oxford?

Yes he did. For real. Did Thaksin or Yingluck really graduate from the Uni's they claim they "graduated" from or got their Doctorate from? lol

If you think his proposals are unconstitutional, how is it NOT unconstitutional for PT's latest suggestion today that the CC Judge's all resign en masse to be replaced with PT affiliated Judge's?

wonderful return of serve there sir...wai2.gif

    Now go brush your teeth.bah.gif

  2. Hey, OP> Don't be encouraged if she doesn't ask you for millions of baht. She's not a fool. She knows if she ask you for the whole amount, you'll disappear. Maybe you could just help out a little. Could you send 3,000 baht by Western Union? And then, again next week? And every week? Hey, it's only a hundred bucks for a rich falang. You can afford that! (Afterall, the other five guys sending her money every week or every month, don't seem to have any trouble affording it.)

Has she told you, yet, how much she dislikes Thai men?

I don't want to put you off, entirely. My GF is a nurse and, three years into our relationship, she's never asked me for a penny. Once, we had a major argument over a few thousand baht I wanted to loan for some repairs to her car. She insists on buying dinner, or paying for the movie. There are LOTS of great women in this country. But you are unlikely to find one online.

OH igor be careful of the 10 year scam. ohmy.png

  3. Hi OP I have a solution for you.

My long lost second cousin's uncle who owned a major oil field and gold mine in timbuktu has passed away leaving an estate worth 23 trillion baht. unfortunately due to banking restrictions in this region the family cannot get to this money without a fresh bank account and a 500K baht release fee.

If you were willing to forward me this 500,000 baht and your bank account details when the funds are recovered I could pay you a 20% fee of 4.6 trillion baht and you could repay your girlfriends debt and have much money left over to buy her a new mini cooper, LV handbag, Iphone etc.

    cheers

Don't worry Jay if he doesn't I will.

PS I'm off to Nigeria next week to invest in a really good deal.smile.png

  4. Yes blame the Thais

I am lead to believe all corpses are sent to the hospital,

    but if you hate Thais..........................

Two months ago I attended a funeral for a Farang teacher in northern Thailand

The School, local authorities and businesses paid for it, even though he had only worked

there for a very short period.

there were more than 30 reefs and 200 teachers and school children attended.

    the service was amazing.

but yes call them greedy b-stards

Interesting that you find those 230 funeral attendees sincere yet you consider anyone who suggests a RIP to this Italian fellow as being insincere.

Are you just too simple minded to understand the motivation is the same?

There were 200 (simple enough) attendees, and I am far from simple minded.

These people had known this man for a short while and made the effort of attending his service.

The RIP mob know nothing of the people they are Typing RIP to,

  5. Always the same posts about someones misfortune:

1--Try to be first with a joke.

2--when not first, just repeat it as ones own.

    3--The doubter/conspiricist "something strange here".

    4--the Thai cynic/complainer--Why the hospital?

5--lastly, the guys who still have humanity and understanding--RIP to a fellow farang who had a tough go of it.

    RIP Roberto. Peace.

Sorry but I hate the rest in peace mob!

Never meet the bloke but all the fake sympathy

and normally some bloke thats toped himself

last week I saw a dead child by the side of the road, now he deserves our thoughts!

  6. Sutherp, I wish you, every success to your quest.

We are all behind you, voters or non voters.

All TVF, members are with you, even if they pretend they support the red shirts, Thaksin or Yingluck.

Because everybody wants this country, that we all love, to go forward and get rid of the vermin, holding us back.

GOOD LUCK to you and your supporters.

You must be the greek suthep(os) speaking for everybody else, NOT

  7. Paying 50,000 to a village elder for permission to build a home... they must think you are a complete idiot.

    I would recommend

    1. get away from the in-laws and extended family

    2. rent, don't build

He he. The boss lady is our neighbour and she sometimes asked when I think I will be finished building the extension (answer: when I have some money..). The decision as to whether to build or not is up to you, I live from my pension so I won't be losing any capital, I live here for free anyway. Since I've been here, together with the brother in law, we rebuilt two houses and will be building a new one after the rice planting is finished. I have a great extended family, we all live in a compound and get on very well. Isn't that sweet?

Nice to see another farang that is not moaning about Thais being stupid and hating their in-laws..............."they just want your money bla bla bla"

  8. I personally condemn violence in the past, now and even in future.

The guards who attack the victim should be prosecuted accordingly and let's the court do the job.

Im still waiting for the result of the shootings at the anti-govt protesters, bomb attacks.

    Still can't catch anyone?

My friend told me to WAIT LONG LONG......

He told me recently there is a Red funeral and whole freaking bunch of the watermelon police attended the funeral.

One big family...you know... My friend said to me.

    hmmmm.... OK. wacko.png

    " watermelon police"

No such thing, watermelon = army= green outside and red inside.

  9. Phra Buddha Issara said he would use the title deed of Wat Onoi, where he is the abbot, as surety when seeking bail for the guards.

Temple land deed will be used to bail out criminals?

Not criminals, innocent until PROVEN guilty is the correct way, no?

Yes of course, and representatives of these innocent people go to the hospital and say it was all a big mistake eeer.........

  10. To put this argument to rest, i just called my bank, Kasikorn.

After going through all the identification, i asked to raise my limit and was told max through an ATM is 100 000 per day

I asked to do that and was told to either go into a branch or do it via ATM machine.

So either some banks have different limits or some people like to post rubbish.

Also either some banks have different security procedures as someone claimed to have raised the limit to 300 000 over the phone or again different banks have different set of rules.

"So either some banks have different limits or some people like to post rubbish."

    Both are true statements.

  11. 4 guys, one sitting on his arse, two just standing there and the other doing all the work. Sounds like Robinsons or Home Pro

Very Thai, na? But, after all, it worked. Cf. the success, efficiency, and brilliance of Brits working together:

Two Pattaya Brits arrested following three bungled ATM Robberies

    29_06_55_1_3.jpg

PATTAYA:--Two of three British suspects thought to be involved in the theft of three ATM machines within Chonburi Province have been arrested by Provincial Transnational Crime Suppression Police Officers.

    . . .

Police Lieutenant General Panya, Region 2 Police Commissioner, held a press conference at Chonburi Police Headquarters on Friday morning to announce the arrest of Mr. Alexander Milbourn aged 24 and Mr. Shaun Edward Tracy aged 34 who were both unemployed and had resided in Pattaya for the last 10 years. They had allegedly devised a plan with a third man, also British, known only as “Richard”, to use Nylon rope attached to a rented vehicle with the other end attached to the cash box of the ATM machine which would then be yanked from the wall. In all three cases the cash boxes could not be opened and the broken ATM machines would be abandoned by the assailants.

They obviously did a better job than the Germans who got busted in Pattaya a long time ago, trying to steal an ATM and pull it out with a rope.

I'm on my way to an ATM now....thumbsup.gif

    Definitely not Germans.

    Yep, no uniforms. cheesy.gifthumbsup.gif

  12. Dear Ginjag,

today is the day you finally lost it,go for a walk to calm down.

I will repeat what myself and others have been telling you,

The Thais will always surprise you.

PS feel sorry for your MIL

Please tell me why "I have lost it", Calm down -ha didn't know I was excited, the other 10 have been telling me what???

Do not feel sorry for my Mother I Law, when she comes to my house the mice throw themselves into the traps. she is that thin she has braces on her corset. She said to me yesterday, "what is different about me today" I said you have new shoes on, she said "no I have a face pack on"

enjoy, so you can see by my reply -I have lost it.

Don't give up the day job!

  13. Everything as expected here then.

    Cunning of Abhisit and Suthep.

They both know the end is in sight.

Still can't see the EC or the PTP agreeing to a free and fair election.

After all..... It wouldn't be Thailand without a bent election.

    Baldrick is that you?
