  1. We drink Royal Project Black tea, and other teas such as (black)  HoarFrost or Just Black Tea.  Afternoon we chose Oolong.

There is a fantastic range of real teas available here, In Chiang Mai, at Warorot market, there is a fantastic range of Thai teas for sale and ne'er a tea bag to be seen.  In the food court a lady sells a type of hot red tea that hits the parts that 'Thaitea' will never reach.

correct me if im wrong, I read the other day only 28% of the Phuket population have had their 2nd jab and it's now the 21st I thought it takes two weeks for the jab to become effective

Does that 28% include the farang who cant even get the first jab?

I agree, the writing in the OP is sloppy.  2 Shots, correctly spaced, are needed and then another 2 weeks to achieve a full antibody response.  this takes about 14 weeks minimum. To get herd immunity then at least 70 %  of a population needs 2 shots and 2 weeks.

  3. Most covid vaccines require 2 shots.

It takes 2 weeks after the second shot to develop full immunity, so since the reccomeded period between the first and second is 12 weeks (depending on type), then another 2 weeks to develop full immunity,

    14 weeks in total.

Even if every body gets their first dose tomorrow, it will be mid September before we can partake in the recovery. This assumes there are any vaccines of course.

note: Some idiot has reccommended that the period between doses should be 16 weeks so the recovery cannot start until October.

End of July???  Tell them they are dreaming!!!!
