There are more important issues on beach road than this. Last friday (3 days ago) i have been offered marijuana and cocain by two different individuals at the beach road, just across the royal garden plaza. These people are so relaxed that i could not believe my ears... They were whispering the offer while you pass by them. Of course i informed the police about the situation but they did not seem to care much.

Just one day before this, i got pickpocketed at the same place. This is not good for tourism. Thai police should do something about the increase in crime in LOS.

I saw this place on the "Charoen Prathet Road". It's on the west side of the river, between Navarat and Loi Khor bridges. I did not have the nerve to go in and ask what they are all about. Anybody know this place?

With 20 baht, you can have delicious snacks from various street vendors.

Some small kanoms from the bakery under the escalator at Kad Suan Kaew. A small salad from the salad bar on the opposite side of the escalator near the exit to the car park. They charge by weight, so just make a salad using light-weight stuff. My usual salad includes heavy items like beans, corn and a boiled egg and it's never more than 40 baht.
