Apart from the Super X track which is at his house there are a lot of opportunities to ride offroad around the rural area.

Rick, dont't forget to call me once you find a nice offroad track to Erawan, I will definately join!

A couple of months ago I read of a diamond ring stolen from a guy worth 500 000 Baht while scanning his goods at a x-ray machine in the airport. This is really ridiculous and after following complaints - I thought - theft by security staff would stop. But today I talked to a friend (she is Thai) and she told me that she lost her diamond ring at the airport and her bf lost his watch. Immediately my alarm bells were ringing and the story of the x-ray scam came into my mind. I asked her if the goods disappeared in a x-ray machine and she confirmed

This must stop and if police or AOT can't handle this we should be aware!

Hi there,

I gathered some information about high speed internet in Chiang Mai. It seems that the cheap ADSL services from TOT (by the way how much is the ADSL rate for TOT), Hi-Net and Ji-net are too slow. That's why I may switch to a cable modem. How are ur experiences with both services and how long does the installation for ADSL or cable modem take?

Another question: How much is the installation fee for a direct telephone line by TT&T or TOT and how much are the monthly fees. How long does the installation take?

Many ???, but I hope u can give me some answers or suggestions.

Hi there,

I'm looking for a nice and inexpensive studio or apartment in Chiang Mai. Not too far from town center and if possible already with high speed internet or direct telephone line (around 5000 Baht or lower).

In addition, does anybody has an idea how much a representative and decent office would be per month (good location approx. 40 sqm.)?

Or are there also possiblities to combine office and apartment. Would be most thankful for any information, ideas and comments.
