Hi, planning to come to Thailand for 4 months from December.

Can anyone clarify if the 45 day visa exempt stamps are available to both airport AND land borders ?

I plan on extending my initial 45 day stamp by 30 days at local immigration office.

Then a subsequent LAND border run to Laos for a day.

Hopefully can receive a further 45 day visa exempt stamp on re-entry back to Thailand ?

Anyone know if this is possible ?

Being a total novice about computer games some advice would be much appreciated.

I'm planning a belated Xmas trip into Ubon on Saturday to buy the kids a computer console. A couple of weeks ago i asked in Big C and they were selling PS2 with 2 controls and 3 games for TB5000 or PS3 for TB12000. The guy in the shop told us it was better to buy PS2 because copy games were very cheap and easy to get ?

Any Ubon gamers have any advice or opinions or alternative outlets in Ubon ?

I am looking for a 7 or 8 foot slate bed POOL table within 50 km or so of Ubon for a games room. I

have been sent on several wild goose chases by Thai friends, but invariably the tables for sale are snooker tables as opposed to Pool tables. New or good condition used. I would rather buy locally as opposed to shipping from Bangkok / Pattaya. etc.

I did ask at the sports shop in Sunee but baulked slightly at the 80000 THB price tag ! Anyone know of one for sale ?
