I am looking to send to Thailand from my home country some 50 items paintings I made many years ago to have them for restoration work.
The paintings don't have any problematic or religious items like nudes or something like this, just scenery still life and figures.
Are the special requirements regarding this shipment to and from Thailand?

I think you have to send it to Rolex. I heard they will NOT send back a fake. It might need some service anyhow.
tell him you'll pay the 8000 baht or you initially split the service fee.
IF (unlikely, I'm sure they are all fake) it comes back, agree to the sale.
i am against this purchase any other route. you can't buy a watch and wonder all day, every day......is this think real?
Thats why I stick to my Seiko for 26 years...

I posted this post on the compulsion to have insurance from retirees in Thailand, who can pay for their MD bills - and why we all will be forced to leave after 75.
So I will not buy a condo or house in Thailand since I will have to leave.
Bye Bye GFs...
Where this topic gone?...

There's no requirement to buy insurance, I've not had any in the past 12 years.
I don't have any (beyond government minimum vehicle). My most expensive medical bill was 3,500bht for 3 nights in government hospital with gall bladder infection. My pal's most expensive bill was 40,000bht in a government hospital, toppled off his m/c and broke his hip, fully paid for by government minimum m/c insurance.
* Just to remind that I clearly stated in my OP That I can pay for all my medical bills.
* About 18 months ago lost my O-A visa for not having the mandatory Thai health insurance. -
Lucy me.
Ruined my plan to buy home XX,XXXB.
Now it is half priced.

The big issue I think they had was when people show up at hospitals get treatment and then walk away or say sorry I can not pay.. From that standpoint I can understand why they have issues.
They just need to get a credit card on applying medical help.

Retiree =? XXX Tourists (Where are they anyway)?
I came to SEA about 12 years ago.
Like the Thai people, culture, food and life in Thailand in general.
1.5 M baht - My bank book tells me that last year spent here about.
All - Net Added Value - On local produce and services supporting local people and economy.
Retiree VS Tourist.
Thailand has total control and data about the retiree.
Permanently stay here and support the people, economy.
So why should I leave LOS?
INSURANCE, INSURANCE, INSURANCE.
At my age it will start at 45000 B per month, If available at all, and rocket skyhigh every year.
I have the means to support and maintain all my medical expenses.
Not to mention retirees so much paperwork and expenses… - 90 days report, visa extensions, address confirm by immigration (Had many many xxxxB…..) - I will mention only two - for renewing driving license. First invalid after lockdown - They are valid for 1 months.
So what next?
The world is round and wide:
Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, … Cypress, Greece… Spain, Portugal,... Panama,....Costa Rica Just to mention a few.

Thanks for all good advice.
Personally I have now an Almera 6 y 24k km.
Mechanically no any issue. But want an upgrade.
Ride both cars. Liked them both, they present leap in class over last years. They are way over my transportation needs.
I tend to prefare the City. But dont like the leather upholstery. Tire size and price...????

Considering a new car models.
Honda City RS vs Nissan Almera VL CVT
Which new car would you prefer/recommend/choose? Via Safety, riding and long time reliability?
Both have the same engine size 1.0L Turbo But the Honda has much more power.
How come? pros and cons. I guess both car companies have highly talented engineers.
The Honda costs more 100,000 B. about 15% = 3K $. How does this change your reply?

OP - Much same status.
77, my travel insurance ran out 5 months already.
Quoted 120k B for year to 400K B insurance.
Observed that it is a hell of good business I should get into making 10 times expected revenue.
Estimated, by past experience, I could have saved some millions Bahts already.
Decided:
- I will be my own insurance company.
- I will do anything I can and needed maintaining and prevention steps of my health.
- Keep away from hospital. Only private GOOD doctor sunless
indispensable.-- Sure I can end loosing on my insurance venue.????????☠️????.Of- 1

Dannang next.
Panama, Costa Rica are alternatives to check.
So far, is different and in many ways better.

Had also a bad experience with Lazada seller.
The product in the picture looked suitable for me.
I got something that I dont want to bother you with details. But I could better have bought a simple tablet\
in a proper shop for about up to 2000 Baht.
So now I am spending so much time in the process of returning this thing.
It is a long and time consuming process.
And then I ask myself how and when will I meet my money back.
The lesson I learned? It is obvious.
If you have any piece of advice - I'll be glad to have.

Health should be consideration No 1.
CM is a great city, but not good enought to get lung cancer.
I will start to consider relocation if air is not getting better.

Major special attractions North Northeast Thailand - Chiang Mai. Very interesting.
My POV:
1. Remove your age from the eqation. No one knows his days.
2. Do as you feel.
3. A child will give you a lot on energy.
4. Life is not an insurance company - Happiness of a child/fater does nothing to do with age.
5. I'm sure you''ll do the best.
Good luck.

I was shopping around for a new smartphone.
Found this one -"touch" at Pantip plaza, first fl.
opposite the book shop.
They were about 5% cheaper than all other shops I tried.
Best part - speaks very good english. Top professional.
and top honest - I gave an excess of 100 baht - and they give me back.

You could have also made an appointment 100 days before you want to
renew your retirement extension,on the immigrations website, simple and
easy, just mark on the calender 100 day before so you can get an appointment,
Its your choice to pay for a service you can easily do yourself, like you i am
retired so time is not a factor.

Hi,
Can you give more details - link?
Thanks,
