Isn't it about time that bigotted countries like this are boycotted by all the world powers.
Sharian law is pack of <deleted> and the sooner western countries start blacklisted these countries , the better. How much aid has Sudan got from others over the last few years.
Cut them off until they wise up.

its about bloody time too, an independant police force that worked equally for all thais is way overdue. Actually while they are at it they could also start to do what they are paid for and actually police the country instead of hiding away in their airconditioned offices. A police force that chased after criminals instead oif supporting them would be nice, so would a police force that did road patrols and booked all the bullsh*t drivers/riders, the country would suddenly have a wealth of govt money of they did. Removing ranks once you leave the force should be also high on the agenda, chalerm is not a cop, he is a politician and should be treated as such and have no sway over them, same with thaksin.
Thailand needs an independant police force that does what it is supposed to, this would stop a hell of a lot of the crap we are now seeing and put the reds and yellows to bed, cant wait but it will simply never happen like everything else they plan here.
You are absolutely right but can you imagine politicians and the elite willingly losing control over the BIB, the appointment of senior officers and so on ?
Yes, these two(Police Captain Dr. Chalerm Ubumrung and Police LtCol Thaksin Shinawatra) own and control the police. The sooner we get rid of these elite from Thailand, the better.

The white shirts have got it totally right, with their middle-ground democratic stance and their refusal to trust either of these extremist groups. We need more people to stand out and say they want new major parties in the centre led by people who represent Thailand the nation, not individual persons or groups. Both major parties are like leering gargoyles, they are unapproachable and remote and gruesome to behold. People who distance themselves from both parties are moving in the direction of progress and autonomy from the sickly gangsterism that we are used to seeing.
Most definitely not middle ground with her support of Yingluk and the elections.
Having a support base of 100 people shows what most people think of them.

Amazing isn't it.
A wanted criminal with blood on his hands and pockets full of corrupt palm-oil money vowing to chase a democratically elected (at the last elections) leader of a country.
A dangerous, deranged rich man insane with power. Sadly supported by those who despise the poor majority, who have sadly ruled the country with their minority up until 10 odd years ago, and are driven insane that the poor have actually been given a voice.
I just wish that the government had the balls to put the bastard behind bars! I'm in a "b" mood today!!
I think the problem is, that he is on the run hiding in Dubai and other countries, the yellow belly chicken sh*t..

Yingluck used state TV to put forth a narrative of lies that was intentionally designed to sow hatred between the farmers and the PDRC before the violent push by Chalerm yesterday. It was unconscionable for her to do that - to pit Thai people against Thai people - especially as it was founded on such a lie. Far from it, the farmers have now become embraced by the protest movement, and have even been the recipients of donations from it, from the very people on the streets that Yingluck chooses to dismiss so summarily with one brush stroke. On the one hand the Yingluck administration condemns " fake farmers " and on the other hand they try to sow hatred among the farmers towards the PDRC, all at the same time of continually dodging their own responsibility for what they have done to the farmers.
Scamper, you need to read a bit more carefully. The money that was donated to Suthep to help the farmers, DID NOT go to the farmers. It was given to attorneys for legal fees encountered to help the farmers. The farmers themselves never got a stang of it.
Are you sure about this.?
Have you actually talked to the farmers representative ?
Why are you telling lies about something you know nothing about?
Would like to go into a court of law and swear to it?

The protesters won't even block the elections if they continue, the completion of the polling will now work in their favour.
The remaining polling is totally in Dem areas and will just be an almighty 'no vote'. The PTP candidates won't be able to beat the 'no votes', so no MP can be selected.
The mandate for the PTP will be well under 20% of the electorate and parliament will be unable to convene, so nothing will really change apart from the EC will be able to press for a new election which the Dems can run in and almost certainly win by a country mile.
PTP only manages 8 million votes nationwide, and their entire voter base has already been able to cast their votes unhindered. The Dems will not lose any of their 11.5 million voters from 2011 and they will likely pick up a load from the PTP disaffected voters.
You fail to understand.
The rules in 2008 are now new, this is not the election 2006 rules.
The coup in 2006 and the new constitution they put into place means :
Elections are held, if a single candidate gets under 20% of the vote then there is a by-election process.
In 2006 a candidate needed to get over 20% in a by-election. This was changed in the new Constitution so now in by-elections there is no 20% requirement - so a single candidate can now win with a single vote, if that is what happens.
Why do you think the PDRC are on the streets killing police ? They have to stop elections.
All in my opinion of course.
Do you have proof of this?
Are you willing to stand in a court room and swear to it?

A TEFL certificate will not help you to get a job nor will it qualify you. It will however help you to get used to the procedure of teaching..
My advise is to get a degree at home before coming here.

Saw some pictures of the going away party and all I can say is, I’m glad I missed it. I don’t drink and don’t come from a pub culture, so not exactly my cup of tea.
They told me you were not invited anyway and happy that you like the photos on that website.

This is what it was like before he came.

Please name any single item that you can buy in King Power duty free, cheaper than Bangkok stores.

It would appear that the Labour offices are on to this.
It is extremely unlikely that you will be given a work permit for being a Teacher's Assistant or Special Lecturer if you have already had a work permit in the same province, for working as a "teacher"
They are getting clued up as to what people are trying to do to get out of going to Kurusapa.
They are getting clued up as to what people are trying to do to get out of going to Kurusapa.
Untrue. With the help of Krusapa and their letters, I and many more people who were on their 2nd or 3rd temporary licence, got a special lecturer visa after being on a visa as a teacher for many years.
i also got a 2 year work permit in the same

Not sure about the requirement of a licence for a Vocational College but I can tell you that you do not require a teacher's licence if you are a lecturer.
The stated salary will have to be higher and tax paid.
Also the number of hours teaching is restricted..
If you need the necessary paper I can send it to you.

I'm sure there will be a queue of Thai farmers waiting to buy a coffee at Starbucks at 80 or 90 baht a cup.

At the bottom of your google earth route search there is an option to travel
1. avoid highways
2.avoid tolls
If you tick both of these you come up with this

Agree or not with him, try to be more respectful for the deceased
So does this mean that since Hitler, Osama Bin Ladin, Pol Pot, Jeffrey Dahmer, and Jimmy Saville are deceased I have to be respectful of them too? I feel the same way about Hugo Chavez as I feel about the aforementioned individuals.
You cannot compare Hugo Chavez with serial killers, terrorists and Adolf... c'mon
No, but you can compare him with many ruthless leaders throughout the world and even in death, why should we show respect to him or them?

Hi Simon. This maybe a solution for you and available in Se-Ed stores all over Thailand.

Maybe we can come in fancy dress or disguise so that members won't know, who we really are.
This is really me.

Not sure about the technical terms but I am about to get cateract surgery here in Chiang Rai. I will get it done free in the Government hospital as I contribute to the social welfare system.
The same doctor also works in the local private hospital, Sriburin where I am told the price would be 30,000 baht for 1 eye.
The operation is the same but the government hospital insists on a 2 day stay whereas Sriburin does it as an outpatient.
