You fail to see, as all those lockdown believers, the bigger picture. Worldwide economic collapse will bring far more misery and deaths than Corona ever will. But I understand the fear. Corona targets the old grumpy ones and TV is full of them.
Well said. Here is real facts, not political BS but facts.

Went around 8.30 this morning to do my 90 day report. Insane amount of people.
2 Tent outside and packed with people , hard to say how many but 100-200 ppl
and all close together in this 2 tent. I turn around and left as I not feel I want get the virus.
And yes I tested first to use the online app they have but as always that <deleted> did not
work. Stay away if you can or use a agent to do you things you need to have done.
Stay safe
PS! This is not a complaint about the great immigration staff that have to deal with this mess

That was 5 years ago and she not reply to him so my question is can she divorce him
with out him being here? I will try find out with the amphur were they married if Ithey
still are married and if will share that information. Is there a law that allow one part to divorce
if the other part gone and refuse to reply to any form of contact?

You can get a 1 year multiple entry tourist vias for a fee.
Only US can get 1 year TV, as Danish you get 15 days and you are not allowed to return with in 30 days
if you want that then you need to get a visa.
As such, Denmark passport holders NEED a visa for Vietnam only when:
- They wish to stay in Vietnam for more than 15 consecutive days;
- They come back to Vietnam within 30 days following their exit of Vietnam under the stay with visa exemption.

I stay here for my gf, cant just leave her after many years together. Nothing so special here
that would want me stay and play along with all the <deleted>. But I will leave next year and she have to
come with me or not. Came here 2001 so had great time but just have enough of all the BS.
Biggest issue is to find a great warm country were you are welcome and were I can spend
rest of my life in peace with out getting constant changes to make it harder for me to stay
or being worried that I get denied entry if I go some were on holiday if the IMO having a bad day
and come up with some stupid reason to not let me in.
So looking for option were to move, Panama looks good , Spain not to bad, Vietnam and Cambodia but non of the last 2 have any proper retirement safe long term option so in the end it will end up with the same BS as we have here, but I keep looking

So I ask for a friend of mine that was 2 weeks ago in Savannakhet Laos to apply for a new tourist visa.
They checked his passport at the consulate and gave it back and said not possible , to many TV and to much history. He asked the buss/agent company that arrange for the trip what do do now and they suggested apply again for transit visa and he did that and that worked , he got 30 days and was told by the buss/agent that he could extend this another 30 days in Bangkok immigration.
This company had also promised him when he booked ticket in Bangkok that it would not be any problem to get one more TV but that was wrong so I would not trust any of this buss/visa trip companies as rules can change overnight.(Yes they did check his passport before he went to Lao with them and said no problem)
So question is can he get the transit visa extend or get a new 30day transit visa in Immigration in BBK? Any one actually manage to do this?
He need the extra time to get all in order to get a Non-O visa.

So it seems to be some new thing at banks, well in my bank at least. I went in and wanted redraw
money and handed over passport and then staff started look true all pages, like she looking for
something. She had to call manager as she seems not to understand what was visa vs extension in my passport
I start getting <deleted> as non of their good damn business IMO. Passport is valid that"s all the need to know.
I asked what is the problem? what are you looking for?
The manager explained they need check extension as if I not
have extension I could not use over counter service, but to use ATM was fine she explained.I did also see she adding stuff
in PC but maybe was my passport number wich they already have so I wonder what she added.
She was also very quick to say: but we don't report, just check.I do understand passport need be checked so its a
real one and valid date etc but my extension is non of their business, and yes I do have valid extension.
The bank I want say is great, they know me and I get always the best service so no shadow on the staff, just doing as they are told from higher up.
This was yellow one, Krungsri in Pattaya. I guess I get paranoid but I feel TM30 <deleted>, 90days BS, changing of money in bank etc and now more
checking make me feed up.
Next is need show passport with proper extension to buy snacks in 7/11. So do not go to any bank if
you even have 1 day overstay as the thing they said, we don't report, I don't believe one bit. Maybe I'am wrong, just feel its to much now, Rant over.

You can only work with a Non O if you are the spouse or parent of a Thai.
If you’re not you’d need to leave and get a Non B.

I hung in for nearly 20 years. Now I’ve sold a bit more than half of my assets here and trying to get rid of the rest. It just doesn’t make sense to stay here anymore, especially when there are other options out there.
Thailand used to be easy. That was the attraction. It doesn’t matter how much you contribute here, you’re either Thai or you’re just tolerated until they decide it’s time for you to go. That’s no way to live out the rest of your days.
Same here 18years+ and I agree 100% with you

OP it's not so hard to understand why there are long ques in immigration, its because of all this shit
we need to deal with, rapport this, TM 30 that, get married and you see what kind of shit you need to deal with
regards papers, home visit, etc, etc. Get papers to get a driver license and all kinds of stupid
crap. So sure immigration offices are packed with people try to follow all this stupidity

1 hour ago, Kasset Tak said:I don't hate our Swedish culture, but I hate how politicians and the Swedish establishment have turned everything 1,000% PC...
* Sweden banned animal cruelty, for example slaughter practices... but now we allow halal slaughter as it's a part of the Muslims culture and religion?!
* There are schools that ban the students from singing the Swedish national anthem... because it can be seen as racist?!
* Traditionally we have eaten a lot of pork in Sweden, the ever resurrecting pig (Sæhrímnir) is even a part of the Nordic mythology... but now schools stop serving pork because that there are Muslim kids in the school?!
* The Swedish government support companies with tax cuts if they hire migrants, so now people like my niece can't get a job in her field even thou she has studied for 5 years in trade school... because hiring a migrant is 15-25% cheaper than hiring an ethnic Swede?!
and people wonder why the Swedish nationalist party has grown to get 17% of the votes in last years election and then 14.5% of the votes in Sundays EU election...I am Swedish and I agree with all in your post. Last time I was there was 7 years ago and it was crap then and now it's much much worse. Never going back

It's easy to get a 1-year extension with a agent but as some poster said very risky if things change. You use an agent now, then some reshuffling happened in the top in the local immigration office your agent use. You come next extension and want to be legit but your bankbook is blank for that time it should not be. never was any 800k for 5 months and 400k the rest of the year. Then you are in deep shit, its all up to the new boss and his staff but if and I do say if ????they would follow the law and rules then you are the big crook here as of course, they will claim you as a foreigner doing bad things, not the agent and the officers involved before, they always go free. Heck not even have to be by the law, he just doesn't like your face or he pissed that you do not use an agent so he can make extra money, whatever shit that can happen. So IMO agent is now a very very bad idea. But of course, up to each person how that want to live here.

Its a bit off topic but here is a statement copied from this page https://www.expatassure.com/vietnam/
Expatriates must contribute to the compulsory health insurance, but as will be explained in the following paragraph, this is often not enough and many expatriates choose to subscribe to a private medical insurance in Vietnam.
Thanks for that information

You can take Indonesia and Vietnam off the list as they both have compulsory insurance for expats.
Can you please show some government information where it says that? I talked with few friends live there and also checked in a forum, NO compulsory insurance in Vietnam but please share if you have more information about this

I had a similar issue when setting up an offshore corp and both Karsikorn bank and Siam commercial(both Pattaya) change my address to English in the Database. If I remember correct Siam took few days as changes were done from Bangkok, so it was easy to get done.I used Siam Legal to get it notarized and they also did some translation of my TOT bill that was accepted at that time for my offshore setup.

The best way is going to the gym you will use, ask the staff and they have business cards for some PT or they know some.
I would say I have seen several PT in the gyms and many sucks, they spend time on there mobile when client do workout and also teach bad movements and bad form. There are some good ones that I have seen. but few. Go and start slow on your own and you will see them and you can look at how they work and then approach them.3 hours morning and 3 hours afternoon is way to much, even a pro doesn't do that much but that's your call, just saying a bad idea.
The price I can't help much, I talked to one PT and his price 4 days a week 1-1,5 hour was I think 12000b per month so not too bad. Good luck
