Dual pricing at medical facilities? I seriously doubt it.
Street markets? No, there's no dual pricing. And things are so dirt cheap in street markets anyway. If you can't afford street food, you ain't gonna survive in Vietnam either.
Yeah. National Parks maybe. And people are flocking to National Parks every day, right? And temples.
Have you ever had any medical treatment here? Myself, 4 surgeries, 20 rounds of chemo, 7 CT scans and 4 MRI, and that's without all the doctors appointments in-between, and let me tell u as someone who also had insurance, were it not for my pink ID card I would have had to have paid at least ouble every single time o gave blood, which was before every single dose of chemo at the hospital, which was at least 60 times, so don't say there's no double pricing. The hospital and surgery prices were also different but luckily my insurance paid for .ost of it. Some things weren't, such as ct and mri scans, but some most definitely were, as my incredibly helpful and intelligent thai wife showed me on numerous occasions. I'm still grateful for the initial speed of diagnosis here, but using government hospitals is a nightmare because they don't give times for appointments only the day. Anyway, there IS double pricing.

Haha. I love reading the comments of educated and experienced armchair epidemiologists. It reminds me of watching Loose Women once. So entertaining.

I'm sure everyone who's commented on here has made a bad decision or two in their lives, and should be grateful that theirs didn't cost them their life. In fact, most of u have probably sat on a motorcycle taxi without a helmet!!! The lack of sympathy and understanding is quite frankly shocking here. Imagine if it were your daughter!! And by the way, there are far more dumb numbnuts around drinking alcohol and causing problems than anything else.

I genuinely think you have mental issues. What are u talking about, I simply told u what my thai specialist advised me, I actually said something related to the topic. It was u that simply had nothing to say related to the topic and could only insult. Again, it just shows a lack of knowledge and intelligence.

I just had my surgery last week numpty. I've had 4 operations at Chulalongkorn Hospital over the last 2 years, and the treatment was great, but i came home in January ON THE ADVICE OF MY SPECIALIST. I don't need to justify myself to someone who's already resorted to insults due to an obvious lack of intelligence.

Why it was necessary to fly back to UK?
Docs often or most are better than in NHS.
Absolute rubbish. My lung specialist advised me to go back to the uk for treatment because, in his words, they are around 3 years ahead there with a lot more treatment options, in fact this specific doctor was about to go to the uk to receive training in his field to bring back to Thailand. If you clearly have no knowledge I a particular topic, it's probably best to remain quiet. (However, waiting time is a completely different issue. Lol )

Only one hour a year.
Not bad at all.
You can rest for another year after this one hour of hard work.
"Only one hour"
Which magic immigration centre do you go to? 😄 Sure as hell isn't Nonthaburi. I loved them sifting through my wardrobe when the came to check me at my home.
I agree with original poster, Just take a holiday every couple of months.

Obviously you're too stupid to understand the process of boycotting something for a valid reason. Maybe you're the type who hasn't got the gonads to stand up against a transgression, a " Mai pen rai" useless type. It's not irony, it's called making a stand.

What a very sad man you must be, finding others' misfortunes so amusing. I'm not one for superstitious or religious hocus pocus, but let's hope your life doesn't go down the pan for all to find amusing. Seriously, what is wrong with some people. We're above the other mammals because of our empathy and sympathy, yet clearly some are not.

Funnily enough most people gow out of their belief in Santa, unlike their unfounded belief in a magical super being.

Did they require 400,000 financial statement? Seems that they do now in Savannakhet even for m/e
-
Thanks for the replies all.
Just one more question, does anyone remember the name of the hotel that does the shuttle bus from Sakhon Nakhon to the Savannakhet border? I did it once, was much better than an overnight bus ride, just cant remember the name of the hotel. I'll have a look, but if someone can remember that'd be great.
-
Why do they now require 400,000 baht financial proof. Are you sure ths us true for the multiple entry, as there's absolutely no point doing it if it's correct.

Anyone done a marriage multiple non o from Ho Ch Minh recently? Any problems or just as smooth as before covid19?
Thanks.

What's the current situation regarding multiple entry marriage visas from Ho Chi Min? All ok, no problems or are there any hassles?
Thanks all.

This is Thailand bud, where most of the people here believe in ghost. Now had this person been wearing a crucifix or have a fish sticker on their car, would you feel the same way?

You can get a bus directly from Vientiane all the way to Udon Thani, it waits for u at the border. When u get to the bus station just go to the mall, have some food and a massage then take a bike ir cab to the airport, cheap as chips. Done it many times. Great cheap foot massage near bus station in Udon.

But on your terms, naturally - not the terms of the general population who have to suffer through the lack of self-control by druggies, eh?
So by your thinking should we ban alcohol as well, because it causes as much if not more problems than drugs. The vast majority of social drug users don't cause any problems, just the same as social alcohol users. Maybe you're just not aware of the numbers. I'm not personally condoning drug use, I just just aware that a vast number of people use without causing problems, so maybe decriminalization could be the way forward, especially if you look at the crime statistics of the countries that have introduced this policy.

What do you honestly believe is the percentage of people who go out for a drink that end up shirtless and cuffed on the floor? Granted it's probably a tiny bit higher than it would be for sober people, but do u really think everyone who drinks is an idiot? Just imagine if that were the case. So get off your HIGH horse. Haha. Some of us can hand our drink an not act like a t##t, or sound like one for that matter.
