  1. If you have a Wise account, like me, it is a good one.

Amounts to send below ±€1000,- arrive in a few seconds/ minutes.

Above this amount can indeed take a few days.

As far as I know it's because they are checking for money laundering.

One issue I have: I had a debtcard and a virtual debt card. They are both blocked because someone tried to take advantage of my cards. Without success.

Because of this matter I have a new problem:

They blocked both cards, but because I left my home country and having not any longer an address, only in Thailand, Wise doesn't send me a new card or not even a virtual card.

Also bec. of living in Thailand I cannot use Revolut!!

Other options?  i have no idea

  2. more and more i get the feeling, i am not welcome, but i can leave the money behind.

It shows the true nature of the government, who never come a step forward to expats and tourists.

Make it easier for 90 days, some documents wouldn't actually no longer be neccesary if living here for a couple of years. and so on and on.

    No, nothing like this.

Thank God, i can choose, right?!

If they insist to pay 1000 baht, i will do this one time.

    After that, arrividerci.

And i gues in the years to come, i will not be the only one.

  3. very sad story for this young woman.

Even if she is a passenger its worth a question? Is'nt the bf responisible, he was the driver.

If he does not have a license, they are very stupid.

Both of them should know making a holiday to  foreign countries, a travellinginsurance is a must.

Bad preperation or are they so ignorant and think: if something happens we gofunding?

This happens already so many times in Thailand, when they start to use common sense

  5. dear,

i am an qualified therapist in Holland. Stresscounselling, EMDR therapy and other mental diseases are my expertise.

I dont have the all the information, but it seems to me, and it can give great results, that he needs an expert, therapist in EMDR. You can find enough info on internet. And i think there will be 1 in your area who can do this simple but very effective therapy.

i wish you strength and hope he will feel better soon.

  6. hi,

i myself bought in my country, Holland, the G box, xbmc

I am very happy with it.

But since i am in Thailand the thing doesnt work properly.

Every time i load a movie it falter or doesnt even start.

many times i get a screen they cannot find the url.

then sometimes it just suddenly starts.

maybe because the connection is not used by many people?

The Gbox is brandnew and i am sure its not the Gbox that gives me the trouble.

    I use for internet, 3BB 10mb.

Any suggestions or ideas would be really welcome.

really? are you serious 15000 bath? only the complete upper jaw or what? if so, can i have the adress pls.

  8. Blacklisting is a very serious event that is not easy to arrange. It normally only happens as a result of a criminal conviction for a serious crime like drug trafficking.

You easily pay Sunbelt or someone else to get the latest filings of the company at the Ministry of Commerce and translate the important parts like lists of shareholders and directors, the company affidavit that states who has the power to sign for the company, and, of course the 2012 financial statements, if these have been filed. Audited financial statements for 2012, even if not a complete year and there were no operations, should have been filed with the Revenue Department and the Ministry of Commerce by the end of May 2013, otherwise the company is in default and will have to pay monthly fines with interest until filing is done.

Are you a director of the company? Even if you are, there is not much likelihood of the company having committed a criminal offence for which you would be liable. Even if it had and that would have to be something like a major fraud, you would not be blacklisted without a criminal conviction which would require you to come to Thailand for at least the opening of the trial to hear the charges and plead.

Sounds like an empty threat to me. Probably nothing much you can do about the company but write off whatever capital you have put into it. Unwinding it would require cooperation from the major shareholder. It will probably just build up fines for non-filing and eventually be struck off after several years. If you want to do business in Thailand, you should probably start a new company with a more mentally stable Thai partner.

Iam for 48 % shareholder. . The thai lady for 51% and her sister has 1%

  9. At first: forgive me my English writing:

i registrated in 2012 a small company in Bangkok. I didnt use it till now, because i only was there for a 1 month holiday.

A good friend of mine helped me with everything. She is for 51%, her sister for 1% and myself 48% shareholder.

It was all settled in 2 weeks. Till now i didnt use this company because my father was very sick.

Now i am planning to return to Thailand in januari 2014 for 2 months, find a place to saty, return home and then stay for a long period.

In this year 2013, this friend of mine, not my gf, suddenly changed in many ways.

For example: she told me she sold her own shops, didnt do any business anymore in Hong Kong and didnt want to have any contact anymore with her family.

I have been talking with her many times this year about her changes in her moods. Couldnt reach her, adviced her to see a doctor. She refused.

For a couple of months ago she told me, she was back in business and acted to me like nothing was happened.

Then she told me, she fooled me, try to make me feel upset, because she wants me to come back and marry her.

I dont want this. She is a Chinese/Thai woman and can be very dominant. hahahaha.

I know how to handle her, but not for the rest of my life, no way.

But now i have maybe a major problem. She does not know that i will return to Thailand in january 2014.

But for 2 weeks ago she said: if you dont come back for me and dont marry me, i will go to the immigration office and have you blacklisted.

    I was shocked.

Problem is i do not know a good and reliable laywer who is asking a fair price.

The laywer i used in 2012 was a laywer who only speaks Thai and it was the lawyer of the Thai lady.

    Now my questions are:

Is this possible, can she have done something with the company, without my knowledge, and blame me for it or is it only bluff.

I dont know if a lawyer or maybe also a notary can check everything on the department of commerce, so i need to know for sure.

better have things find out before i come to Thailand.

  10. This has been a big argument I have had on this site. However, my stance has just been that you shouldn't need one if Thais are not involved in any way (I was told so by immigration officials, which doesn't satisfy some posters on this site). However, if you are dealing with Thais as customers or clients, I think they would care. Not sure how it would work, but I would look into getting a work permit. You could probably fly under the radar, but once Thai clients are involved, I would think you would need a work permit.

i think you are right. Suppose someone is doing phoneconsulting for a company outside Thailand, by using VOIP.

For me its a gray area, but maybe i am wrong.

  11. I have a good solution for your problem, but its up to you if you succeed.

You can take diet after diet, but it wont work for you, as it looks like.

Start your life with weatgrass powder. its also for sale in Thailand.

Its the most healthy superfood you can find. I dont sell it, i am a user myself.

Everything you really need you will find in weatgrass powder. I changed my daily eat patron.

I start with a weatgrassshake and some fruit. 1 time per day dinner and 1 shake again. you ll hungry again take another shake.

You will feel great after a while.

You eat things your body cant handle.

Good luck, whatever you choose to do

  12. Hi, maybe i have a solution. I have a friend, Filipian woman of 39 years old, she works in Dubai, works there as a nanny.

The conditions are not good at all. The muslim family she works for is paying her badly and they have no respect for her at all. Many have left there already. She needs to work 7 days a week.

Now she wants to leave, but then she doesnt have a job. Its a hard working woman. easy going and respectfull.

    Maybe your ideal nanny??

  13. Tourist visa, Non-O visa, Non-B visa all do not require return tickets. Visa exempt entry technically requires a return ticket. Airlines frequently tell customers they need return tickets when they do not. Instruct the agent to read the IATA requirements.

i am just a bit confused, because they told me i need a return ticket. I am 56 and want to stay for at least 3 months in Thailand. If i dont have to buy a return ticket andi can decide whenever i want to leave or not.
