Is the question really 'should Greece be allowed to say in the Eurozone?' or should it be 'does Greece gain any advantage by staying in the Eurozone?'. I suspect that the answer to both questions is probably No.
The ECB, the IMF and Germany are partly to blame for this mess. Let me make an analogy: back in the '90s and early '00s the US banks were handing out money like drunken sailors. Then, the US economy slowed and crashed and over a 10 year period (2005 to 2015), 1 out of 4 US homeowners lost their homes to bank foreclosure. Now Greece's creditors are in the same position as the US Banks were a few years ago when millions of people were defaulting on their loans. However, there is one important difference. Greece's debtors cannot kick the Greeks out of their houses and sell them off to repay the debt! These sovereign debts are basically unsecured loans and if Greece defaults, their debtors have no real recourse.
If I were in charge of Greece, I would do two things:
1.print Drachma's and have them loaded into the ATM's this morning.
2.declare bankruptcy and negotiate repayment of the loans on a basis of 20 cents on the Euro.
They can't print,mint and plates were destroyed when they entered EU
But the can print the 20 Euro bill.
They could print 20 Euro bills and stemp on it that these are New Drachma. It would be crazy but crazier things have happened in the past.
They could just print 20 Euro bills uncontrolled. I would love to see Merkels face when Alexis Tsipras tells Merkel that he had to print 2 Billion Euro to fill up the ATMs and used random serial codes

About 15 years ago, I was neck deep in Jomtien surf. Suddenly something bumped in to me hard,I was tossed around like a rag doll. I felt it from my shoulder down to my hip, so it wasn't small and "it" had skin like sandpaper. Scared out of my f+++ing mind I ran/swam, hearing cello playing in my mind, all the way to the beach road. That was the last time I've ever been,more than knee deep, in any natural water.

I had the same pleasure with snow and thick slush on the runaway. Unfortunately, at the moment I was employed by the airline and had a cockpit seat! And I wasn't a pilot!

our farm pays all our living costs,
i still go to work from time to time, the money i earn goes into my bank here in thailand that just stays there, if we ever needed a major item like the guest rooms we have just had built then the money would come out of there,
when i was away last time i came home to over 150,000bht in my desk draw, money from the pigs, i said why didnt you put it into the farm bank acount, wife said i wanted to wait for you so we can do together like allways,
the farm bank acount is there for both of us,
we dont spend much at all, we still have a good life and do the things we want to do but we both enjoy being together and working the farm, not that i do much you must understand as i dont have a work permit, as some of the jelouse on here will point out,
so if you look on youtube you will just see my wife working on the farm,
my ex wife in the uk i will add, had a free hand on the money and it cost me a fortune as to this day i think i kept her family also, just the same as some on here think all falang must do here,
im the same as others on here, my wife and i are a partnership im not the boss we talk about things if we want to spend a good sum, it was my idea for the guest rooms,i said to her it will let other falang if they want to come and see that you can make a happy life here in thailand, i know having a farm,(pigs also) isnt everyones cup of tea but they could come here and just see what can be done with a little hard work and a lot of effort from both of us,
we only have 2 rai but it works for us,
so to stop me rambling on,
if i want something i talk it over with my wife and the same goes for my wife,
my wife has her own money everyday from her ducks, that is her everyday money, when it comes to bills that just comes out the farm acount,
