  1. our farm pays all our living costs,

i still go to work from time to time, the money i earn goes into my bank here in thailand that just stays there, if we ever needed a major item like the guest rooms we have just had built then the money would come out of there,

when i was away last time i came home to over 150,000bht in my desk draw, money from the pigs, i said why didnt you put it into the farm bank acount, wife said i wanted to wait for you so we can do together like allways,

the farm bank acount is there for both of us,

we dont spend much at all, we still have a good life and do the things we want to do but we both enjoy being together and working the farm, not that i do much you must understand as i dont have a work permit, as some of the jelouse on here will point out,

so if you look on youtube you will just see my wife working on the farm,

my ex wife in the uk i will add, had a free hand on the money and it cost me a fortune as to this day i think i kept her family also, just the same as some on here think all falang must do here,

im the same as others on here, my wife and i are a partnership im not the boss we talk about things if we want to spend a good sum, it was my idea for the guest rooms,i said to her it will let other falang if they want to come and see that you can make a happy life here in thailand, i know having a farm,(pigs also) isnt everyones cup of tea but they could come here and just see what can be done with a little hard work and a lot of effort from both of us,

we only have 2 rai but it works for us,

so to stop me rambling on,

if i want something i talk it over with my wife and the same goes for my wife,

my wife has her own money everyday from her ducks, that is her everyday money, when it comes to bills that just comes out the farm acount,

You are lucky. Usually pigs miss falangs sooo much they get sick and die!

  2. I have a hunch that the attacks are coming from a certain demographic all aligned with a certain view of the world.

Radical Islamists and their far-left enablers.

Those groups may be the most violent and militant, but anti-Israeli sentiments are far more widespread.. It's not just anti-Semitism. It's provoked by the atrocities commited by the State of Israel in the name of self-defence, while really persuing the Zionist goal of Eretz Israel.

Among peaceful people, opposition to Israeli aggression will - hopefully - manifest itself in boycotts and economic sanctions by civilized governments.

The anti-semitism that still exist in Europe has NOTHING to do with Israel. It`s unfortunately been deep rooted both long before, during and it`s still continuing long after the atrocities in WW 2.

Are you serious? Obviously you are not European.

  3. What it does not mention in the O.P headline is that the officer's partner as seen on the video was also black. The evidence looks pretty damning, but the O.P headline is disgusting as it presupposes race to be a motive and ensures it will be seen that way by any jury and the general public. Had the roles been reversed I wonder whether the words black and white would have also made the O.P?

The fact is that loads of blacks are being killed by the police, give us some examples when the roles are reversed.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_American_police_officers_killed_in_the_line_of_duty

Not sure why you put that list there.I don't think this "officer" deserves to be associated with them. Badge don't make you a hero, your actions do.

  4. Thorgal, I have no idea what you're talking about.

Using "host farang" terminology in the context of this thread is really bizarre.

I do get that you want to change the topic to be about conflicts between Jews in Israel.

But that is not the topic even though I agree the situation with Haredi is very interesting in itself and certainly a problem in Israel.

As far as diaspora civilian Jews arming themselves, I would agree that is quite a controversial topic. On the face of it, it sounds dodgy but I can certainly understand the impulse from anyone who feels threatened to want to defend themselves.

However, it is quite obvious, sadly, that armed guards and heavy security are now needed at Jewish gathering places, religious and secular, in many countries.

An example of this. A while back I was researching the idea of living in Colombia and discovered there was a Jewish community there. Looking at their website, just to even go there for a visit involved a pretty intense planning and screening security process. Do you think they are unfriendly or ... afraid?

Your Colombian brothers are most likely just racist.

  5. Every time Israel attacks one of its neighbours, a Zionist publishes a book titled "The New Antisemitism" (or something similar) there is a huge movement who are against apartheid Israel, it has nothing to do with Jews, many of whom are against Zionism.

    Dude, that is abrasive BS.

When someone paints a swastika on a Jewish fraternity in California, that's just Jew hatred.

Or shooting up children at a Jewish school in France.

Or violently attacking random rabbis on the street.

Or defacing Jewish cemeteries in many countries.

    Etc., etc.

If you want to protest Israeli government policies, there are proper ways to do that.

And if you wan to see that happening in one place instead of the whole world?Guess where to go? You have to replace jewish and rabbis with ....

  6. It is also crucial for the reconciliation process to be based on justice, good governance and the rule of law - so there is peaceful coexistence in society.

That statement alone defines the difference for those who understand democratic principles from the likes of UDD, the Redshirts and the Shinawatra mafia. Well spoken Khun Nicha.

May your heart have found peace from your lose.

Redshirts and Shinawatras never had big issues wt democracy. If I remember correctly they never loose any democratic elections? I belief that basic idea of the democracy is that majority rules? PeaceWPFflags.gif

  7. Just trying to figure this out.... Did he assault the policeman ? Why did he run from the police ?

There are a lot of redneck policemen in the USA who won't take any lip from people. A black man doesn't have a chance with those type of officers.

But you have to wonder why some of these people don't show some respect for law enforcement. It's almost like they are asking for trouble. We saw in the last few cases where the big black guy assaults the police officer, we hear of them trying to take the officers gun, we see them running away from the police. What can the officer do, just take the abuse and beating or let the guy run away ???

There are wrongs on both sides. Blacks need to show some respect and if there is a problem report the officer. Officers need to call for backup and not confront these big guys on there own. Sad someone dies because he ran away from an officer but also sad that an officer has to use deadly force to stop a guy from running away... No winners here !

There's plenty of videos cuff'd unconscious black guys been kicked while yelling DON'T TRY TO GET MY GUN.

Nowadays it's very hard to feel sad reading news about cop killings. Why you think officer has to use deadly force to stop running man?

  8. Sitting thinking back to 2004 When Thailand needed help who rushed in to help? Which country opened there hearts and there wallets pouring in millions of US dollars supplies man power, search and rescue animals, Doctors, Nurses, Water, food, Planes, ships and god knows what else Yet did anyone hear them ask for repayment? And who ran the operation or was in Control? If memory serves me I believe Thailand was. In the months and years after aid still came and help was offered in rebuilding. It was there if you needed it and if the same were to happen again today God forbid, The US would be first in line with the needed help no questions asked, With political differences put aside. Now the question you have to ask yourself is simple Can you without a doubt say the same for those your getting close to now? What separates American's from the rest is our compassion for fellow man. Our politician's aren't America it's our people who is America. Said my peace rest is up to you.

1 million Iraqi child and infant are one of the latest to be forever grateful for your compassion.

Unfortunately USA's foreign policy causes more damage it could ever fix. The aid, rebuilding and wars have always been very beneficially to those who really matter in the USA.

By the way, EU is the biggest "aid" in the world!

  9. Here's the problem... The farang knew he was outnumbered and running for cover when the Thai gang ran went after him on the offensive and beat him severely...

Sorry but it was not defensive intervention...they beat him b/c of their hatred and resentment towards westerners...same thing could happen to Finn bf so it should be a warning to him

Bet ya the BF 's money trickles down to GF's brother....

Hatred of and resentment towards the westerners...you've been obviously shown your placethumbsup.gif And sounds like you deserved it too!
