Just a question but why didn't you go to the hua hin immigration office in Blueport? It's on the ground floor. Never busy and the service is so fast. Recently did an extension there in under 10 minutes.

My friend has been told by a certain visa company here in pattaya that his company has been given permission to do the 90 day stamp on a retirement visa instead of going jomtien....I dont think its true and want to advise my pal..has anybody heard of this?

I wonder if hes related to the many nigerian millionaires that keep emailing me with the news that they want to send millions of pounds to me......maybe he should contact them for some bail/tea money....

Just a side note if I send off for a new passport and then go for a tourist visa in laos.. how long does it normally take for the passport to come back?

Hi im not sure where to post this so I apologise if it goes in wrong section.

I came here on a single entry tourist visa which I have extended for 30 days at jomtien. I want to stay longer so am I correct in saying that I can now go on a border crossing and then re enter same day and get 30 days? Also my passport has less then 6 minths left but as im not getting another " visa " just a visa on arrival will I be ok ? Also which is nearest and cheapest way lol

hi is it possible to apply for a tourist visa while in thailand? i am currently coming out most probably on a 30 day stamp but is it possible to then apply for a 60 day tourist visa from a nearby consulate during this time? or should i hang on and send off for a 60 day tourist visa while in uk? has anyone sent off while in thailand and any idea of the timescale?

Don't you need to authorise your card for use abroad? You normally need to do this in the bank or over phone..how do they manage to remove funds from overseas accounts without doing this???
