Does anyone know if the Thai Embassy in PP will be open during the water festival?

My visa expired on the 4th of May and that same day I flew with Air Asia to Phnom Penh on Monday. Stayed on Velkommen Guesthouse 144 Street just by the river. On 5th I went early to see a visa agent just nearby. I said I wanted it on Thursday because I was flying back on Friday. Although the embassy was closed that day did I get the 3 day rate 55$. Single entry delivered 7pm on Thursday the 8th. No problems at all.

When and how long is Buddhist lent?

Above it says days (plural).

Hopefully it will just be the starting day and the end day and not the entirety in between which is about 3 months isn't it?

Starting 23rd July and ending 20th October.
