What rubbish. At 4am they would have reasonably expected to have complete privacy. Their actions wouldn't have upset anyone. They were clearly stalked by predatory males, and then raped and killed.

I don't know where all this 'upsetting' the locals comes from. I have seen Thai couples having sex in a local park at night while I was out running. Also walked in on students at it in a classroom once.

I was only stating what was being said on the BBC, I know Thailand well enough myself to know what's ok and what's not and what actually goes on!

maby you will think differently is you know:

thailand stole the south provinces by force in 1785

the population was forced to learn and speak thai (wich they hated)

Bangkok send thousants of poor thai to those provices (to give the example)

They tried to make them buddists(what a mistake)

Now after hundreds of years ,they still resist ,and they will never give up.

Funny you mention the English and the fact they have conquered half the world and implemented that same rule of terror and the natives. My own language was almost completely eradicated because they would cut the tongues of people who spoke Irish. 800 years later and there is still unrest.

On this particualr issue, I can't see it ever getting better, even if the land was given back, Buddhists would then rise up against the Muslim government!

How does it look now?? What a joke! And the manager is quite important as any player comming in wants to know he is respected enough by a manager to get in the first team, which is what players want. Others might do the business aspect, but managers have a lot of sway in the final decision of a player!

It will be an interesting 2 hours, but in all honesty this year has bored me, just my own opinion! Personally, Moyes has concentrated to much on Fellaini all summer, could have spent his time much more constructively, for instance, guaranteeing signatures before the last day!

Fellaini I'm pretty sure is on his way to Old Trafford, right now. Rumour has it that he's been to and left Finch Farm, after handing in a transfer request.

Does becoming friends with bar girls count?? I have many friends who would buy a drink, share in food, care about their family and friends, etc. That counts as a heart of gold to me, the same characteristics as my friends at home. Sure they do what they do for money, but when your not a customer, your both the same as any other person!

I take a break from TV every now and again because it is infuriating to have to read the BS responses from users. I've never had to go to an immigration office but from what I read the incompetence of officials is deplorable. It is known how they treat farrangs. TiT is a loud of codswallop when it comes to an excuse for visas. Whatever visa you go for should be clearly defined and the procedure outlined so all can follow correctly, changing what is acceptable etc day to day is ridiculous, and shames the government further!

Your rant is very understandable OP, and sharing on a forum is certainly one way of letting out the frustration. Better luck next time I guess!

The Nation states that the blade was 16 inches in length. This is inconsistent with the surveillance video readily available for viewing which clearly shows  significantly longer blade than stated. Is the newspaper assisting in a 'coverup?" It certainly appears that emphasizing the length and then distorting the obvious size of the long, samurai length blade clearly appears to be manipulation so as to downgrade the level of severity from samurai sword to machete. Shameful inconsistent and manipulative reporting.

Whoever posted the video on YouTube is probably s###ing themselves as this clearly represents Thailand in a negative way!

It amazes me the amount of expats in Thailand who have an interest in South America, even if they have never been! I'm not quite ready to move permanently to Thailand yet, but when I do it will be because I have been there and know I will like it!

The amount of interest in SA is amazing, to me SA and Asia seems worlds apart! It also seems to be to do with where you will get more bang for your buck, is this the only thing it comes down too? I only ask out of interest!

Ha, I have this very same conversation with myself after a 'session'. I don't drink as much as I used to, due to not being able to afford it like I used to. Before I would have drank maybe three or four times a week, but would not necessarily be drunk on all or even any of the nights. In my head I put it down to that I used to socialise a satisfactory amount! Now I get out twice a fortnight, once on payday and one other night, but have the same problem, once I start it's hard to stop, and again I believe this is to try and satisfy my need for what I have missed the other nights. I wouldn't say you are an alcoholic, but perhaps try and distinguish what will satisfy your need over a week, fortnight or month, and know that just because you're out one night, there is another night to look forward too not so far away!
