I would not rush to book that early.

Is the flight KL to Australia on Malaysian?

    Wait for "government approval".

If you book before and it's not approved I bet you will have a long wait for your money back.

Was booking early to secure best prices. apparently CM to KL is a new route for Malaysia airlines. Flights on that route only begin around that time. I dnt travel that much so was unsure if government approval for a flight was an issue or not

  2. Hi,

I am looking at booking a flight from CM back to Australia via KL in late Novemeber. The flight I am looking at with Malaysia airlines displays this message - 'New flight, New flight is subject to government approval'.

They are taking bookings for the flight so Am I correct in assuming approval is merely a formality? I have never seen this message before. there appear to be CM to KL flights most days of the week

My other option is to go CM to BKK, BKK to KL and then get the same flight from KL to Australia I would be getting with the CM flight. It is more time consuming to do it this way but I dont want to book and get stuck paying through the nose for another flight if this flight does not get approved.

    Advice appreciated, thanks

Betchya can't get 90 minutes oily for $15 (300 baht) though, as I got yesterday!

massage was a euphemism for other things. Yes a standard massage in oz is more expensive than in Thailand

  4. havent been to LOS in a couple of years and was thinking about a return, did some chatting on thaifriendly and suffice to say the prices quoted for certain 'things' and the low Australian dollar mean it is about equal price as back home. the good old days are over lol

  5. I went to finally to Touch Gym on Maya shopping center because of late opening hours. It has been closed now for one month due to renovation and expansion. It will open within next weeks with brand name Max Fitness.

Any Idea of prices on Max?

I go to Go Gym and train pretty heavy there but the heat recently has made training very uncomfortable. Looking for an aircon venue with I mean 'all the gear.'

Use to go to TM Muscle Gym but it is too far out of town.

  6. i have previously used double entry tourist visas to stay in Thailand for six months at a time:

    feb -aug 2013

    feb -aug 2014

    feb -aug 2015

besides these trips i only have one visa exempt entry from 2011

i would like to come to Thailand towards the end of January and stay for three or possibly four months

so i could go with a single entry tourist visa and than get a 30 day extension from the immigration office - is a 30 day extension possible on a single or only on the old double entry tourist visas?

the other option is to get the new multiple entry visa and use two 60 day entries, maybe staying 90 days or maybe 120, i have some questions regrading the new visa -

will they be enforcing the rules regarding showing 7000 USD in a bank account for six months?

i believe there are also some questions about your employment in your home country? ill be leaving my current position to go on this trip and will just find something new when i return will this be an issue?

Can the entries be activated by land border crossing or will one have to fly in and out?

i will be applying for the visa in my home country of Australia

  7. could someone please be kind enough to provide a google maps link to the new location to get a residency certificate?

are they charging for them now?

how long does it take to be issued?

how long is it valid for once issued?

    thanks

  8. ive spent six months a year here for the past few years, i have a thai license and always wear a full face helmet

in 2013 i rode through a multitude of checkpoints and never got stopped

in 2014 i couldn't ride through a single checkpoint without being stopped, once got stopped twice in the same checkpoint

so far in 2015 ive ridden through a couple and havent been stopped so im off the belief that at certain times they target foreigners and at certain times they leave them alone if they have a helmet on
