Performance wise they are sub par.
Tesla Model 3 0-60 3.1 seconds.
Good Cat Ora around 9 seconds.
and how long does your car take to get to 100kph?

What we need now is a dense net of fast-charging EV chargers. I thought PTT was getting into that business, but other than one news article some months ago I have read nothing more about it. Recently, I read that the electricity company had some plans, but the information was rather vague.
Most EV owners charge at home and only use public charger on long trips.

If I could drive off the lot in a new Ora Cat today, I'd have bought one already. But since it's still a 4~6 month wait, I'll just sit tight and see what 2023 delivers. There definitely won't ever be a new Tesla in my driveway though.
Go with the BYD Atto 3. It is a close competitor to Tesla Model 3 and much cheaper.

3.1 Sec is performance M3.
Why pay that premium price when you can get the BYD Atto 3 to get 0-100 in 7.3s.

What is sub par about them exactly?
I think that the BYD Atto 3 is great value. I've got one on order in Australia and I would order one if I was in Thailand.

I would love to be able to buy a fully electric car, but at the moment it would need to be a Tesla to be able take me from home to Makro and back on a charge.
I can't afford a Tesla.
Keep an eye out for BYD EA1 if you looking for a small car the BYD Tang for 7 seater SUV. Both are capable of during 500km on a full charge.

Why???
EV's are more reliable than ICE vehicles, as there are less moving parts. -

I highly doubt it.. besides smaller bikes still cause far more mayhem. It would be good if big bikes would get more rights. I hope the big bike manufacturers will push for that (unlikely too).
I wish the big bike companies would petition to allow big bikes on toll roads. I just bought a Ninja 2 weeks ago and found it difficult trying to navigate way back home in Bangkok, trying to avoid the toll roads.
I wasn't aware of the rule until wifey pointed it out to me when I was making the turn to the expressway entry.
I'm trying to find out the reason for this ruling. Wifey found that there was a petition previously with >10K signatures; apparently this was rejected by government.
I've been riding bike bikes for >30 years in various countries and baffled why we can't do the same here in LOS.

For the best rate, I found bringing cash and exchanging at Super Rich worked for me.
You can monitor the rates and make the exchange when rate is satisfactory.
You must however declare funds at customs in Australia and Thailand.
The latter comes in handy if you want to take funds out of Thailand at a later date.

Actually, the Expedia taxes and fees add up to 757.71, not 507. You forgot to add the 250 baht "airline card fee" that Expedia lists as a separate line item but is still a "fee".
Jetstar have their own Mastercard Credit card. Bonus is you don't get charged the card fee when using it and they have a decent rewards program.

I hope you manage to keep your carry-on to 7kg on Jetstar, otherwise you won't be happy paying for checked baggage.
Carry on baggage on Jetstar is limited to 10kg.

I would recommend Jetstar as they do not charge infants travelling with adults.
I would also suggest to choose Thailand English website as it fares seem to work out cheaper in some cases.
I've used them on a number of occasions with my then infant, (3yrs old now).
Good luck mate

Mandela spent 27 years in prison for his believes and I am a fugutive criminal and coward on the run.
Actually he spent 27 year in jail for a bomb plot and not being willing to give up an armed struggle via the military wing of the ANC - Umkhonto we Siwe...
It wasn't a peaceful battle at all. We that lived in South Africa at the time were expecting a civil war. The minority govenrment then disbanned the ANC, which ended up being the ruling party.

I just booked direct flights Perth to Bangkok with Jetstar for September school holidays. Less than $600 return. I think that it is on the new Airbus A321 Neo.
