I always read that peple did not want to kill, but they did.. Maybe if they think first before they do they won't kill. It easy to say it was not my intention.... so why did they do than??

I had an accident few years ago with 3 stupid teenagers on a <deleted>ty scooter going wrong way, at night, without headlight. I didn't kill them but they were sent to hospital. Mostly, head injuries (no helmets). I'm glad they were ok after few days but if I had killed them that day, it would have been an accident, it would not have been my intention and would result from their stupidity only.

Btw, Police and family of the kids asked me to pay for hospital treatments and the destroyed scooter. I told them they were in the wrong, called my insurance (first class) and I didn't spend <deleted>.

    Could be....

Suggestion wife was having affair with the dead man. She promises him 300,000 naht of he kills him.

Man tells mother he sold some land to cover sudden cash windful....

Swiss man manages to kill the assassin. Police raid house to see if wife has 300k baht ready as payment.

    Just maybe....

That doesn't make any sense since the wife said she had been living on the pension of the Swiss guy for years. Why would she gave money to have him killed ? She would end up losing so much in the end.

My guess, if money was involved is that the Thai guy had 300k from selling a house (actually police should check that claim and ask the mom which house he sold and who is the new owner), maybe he used this money for gambling, lost it all, got drunk, got mad and remember there was a farang in the neighborhood that might have some cash with him.

Therefore, he would come back home to his mother and not lose face for losing all his money on gambling.

Wow. I have just picked a random hotel from the "Phuket Sandbox Hotels" link above:

The Vijitt Resort Hotel - from 63,000 baht for 14 nights = 4,500 baht per night.

On Agoda and I can book the same place for 14 nights for 23,253 baht (including taxes and service fees).

Not a great deal is it?

The one provided on booking.com at 2,500 is without breakfast, no cancelation and without any possibility to change the booking dates.

They also have the option at 4,500 baht with breakfast and can change edit booking dates if needed. So I guess it's fair

  4. Yesterday in Bangkok I saw a cop riding a scooter without helmet, without mask, without license plate, without mirrors, without tax sticker and one of his blinker was broken....Oh and I forgot to mention he was going the wrong way at an intersection. I wonder what would happen if I had posted a picture online (I'm pretty sure I would be arrested for damaging the image of Thai police).

Moreover, regarding wearing a mask while riding, in my case this is not feasible. I have a tight full face helmet and the mask will slip off whenever I put my helmet on...

Forgot to add water parks to the list.

You are right ! in 2008, I went with friends to a water park in Bangkok (not gonna name it because of this f***** defamation law, but I followed safety procedures, crossed my arms on my chest...

However, because of the <deleted>ty design of the ride, I ended up jumping on the second bump and I broke my elbow. There was no one at the end of the ride to offer any assistance (except my friends) and when I complained to the staff, they just said "oh we sorry for you". They didn't refund me, didn't care if I was ok or not and didn't even offer to call emergencies. We had to take a taxi to the nearest hospital and it ruined my holidays.

  6. I went to a 4 stars hotel in Koh Chang 2 years ago.  I put my passport and laptop in the safe before going out.
To my surprise, inside the safe was a document saying " if you forget your code (4 digits code) just press 0000 and the safe will open...

I tried 0000 and it worked. I called the reception to ask about it and they didn't care and said it was for my safety in case I forget the code.

In the end i carried my laptop and passport while going to the beach
