I'm a newly diagnosed diabetic in Pattaya that does not cook at home.

Can anyone give me some places to buy diabetic ready made foods? If not ready made some easy things to put together at home? Where do you go to get something sweet or baked goods and breads that are ok for diabetics here in Pattaya??

Also the pharmacies/medical supply shops near Vistory Monument on Rajawithi, and shops inside most hospitals.

I am also looking for a oxygen concentrator/machine SECOND Hand if possible. If someone has a specific number or business I can contact it would be so helpfull! I have already tried 5 hospitals and they do not help with Oxygen outside the hospital and Facino Pharmacy's cheapest machine is almost 28,000 bht.

FYI I opened emule again with both the windows firewall off and the router firewall off. Uploads continually connect and then quickly disconnect. Total downloads are 2kb on and off. It shows High ID and Open Kad....

Here you write you have High ID and before not. Are both arrows green at the globe when you look at Emule?

You write that you have interrupts when you transfer data. How is your line quality? You can see this in your modem.

What modem do you have?

Are you sure that not anything else is sharing the bandwidth - like trojans?

But in respect of download speed - I have torrents that run with full speed and I have torrents where it takes more than a week to download. This is not so much a firewall problem. Bad people (like me) limit their upload speed as much as possible and focus mainly on the downloads. And then it depends on how many people provide the source and how many download. Will be always different.

It is showing High ID now but the same actions happening.

How do I check line quality? (My internet runs perfect and fast)

I have a Huwaei SmartAX MT880... firewall disabled and UpNP is enabled... also ports show forwarded and open but port check in Emule says TCP cannot be reached.

How do I check if there is a trojan? I have run AVG and AntiMaleware and found 0 infections.

My downloads have hundreds of sources and my uploads are set at 31kb but uploads just connect and disconnect never getting above 8kb...

I know I am missing something.... what can it be?

Just as a quick check, remove the router from the equation and plug the modem directly into the PC.

If this sorts the problem then its a setting in your router (port forwarding, firewall etc).

I am not familiar with this.... I have a phone line plugged into my router then a LAN line from the router to the PC (It's not WiFi). How would I get internet service without the router?

I am looking for a home service for my internet software and applications (P2P. Emule, Utorrent). Does anyone have a computer guy you have used and that was good?

I think Emule gets more and more a thing of the past. Check that you have updated the server list.

There are others like Shareaza. Try them. Think about torrents.

In respect of low ID switch off the firewall and look if it is the same. Just took of the dust of my old Emule for you since I do not use it anymore - both arrows green. Ports 4662/4672 and UPnP enabled. Special settings in the firewall. This all with 3BB - your ISP.

Thanks for checking on your emule there! I do update my server list. I tried Frostwire and Limewire in the past but they had much much fewer files I was looking for. I would consider another P2P like I said, but I would need someone to show me. I have spent many days and frustrating hour upon hour trying to fix the emule and then trying to learn and setup utorrent, opera and others to no avail. (Could not get them to DL either but all said connected) There has to be a setting in my router or computer that is wrong but I cannot find it.

I had emule for years here in Thailand and now it has quit and after all I have tried, it will not work!

I have 3MB/512 3BB Internet in Pattaya. I have used Emule for about 7 mo at 150-300kb most all the time.... then only at night... now never over 15kb and low ID! Most times nothing at all.

I have since tried a static IP in Windows XP.

Forwarded the ports in the router.

Changed the port numbers and forwarded the new port numbers.

Uninstalled Emule and reinstalled from scratch.

After all that I have no change.

IS there anyone in Pattaya that would be willing to get this working for me again? Or can show me another P2P to use to DL movies and TV programs?

Please I am going crazy... I am willing to pay for someones time to fix this!

I want to send and receive fax via my PC. I have Hutch high speed WIRELESS internet. I contacted the hutch office and they could not get it to work. I have seen websites that offer software that you can use a phone number they assign to you for people to send you a fax that shows up in your email as an attachment... and the software uses your scanner and then you dial the fax number to send right on your screen. However I cannot find one for Thailand.

Those are 8" wheels with a white wall/red pin stripe add on. Most accessories i got at thaivespashop.com. They have real 10" white walls there too.

I'm not sure, but it's impossible to start with a certain amount of money unless they don't hang up the hose after a customer.

If they just filled up a motorbike with some fuel, let's say THB 30, and you're next, they might just switch customers without switching off the pump.

If they switch off the pump in between customers the counter turns back to zero as soon as they pick up the hose again. So, sometimes it seems as if there is an amount on the counter, before the hose is picked up for you, but as soon as they do, the counter will be zero. That's something the staff can't do anything about.

I read this thread and was curious so I went to the shell station a couple days later. I had an empty tank. It always coast about 130bht to fill the tank.... I asked for 130bht and watched him fill it. He did not reset the pump from the previous customer (did not put it back in the pump to reset) but tried to stand in front of the pump so I did not see that... he then put the gas in the tank and moved to show the pump fill to 130bht. (It started at about 50bht) My tank was filled to HALF. When I tried to say anything I dont speak thai and he spoke no english.... (so I didn't get anywhere) I figured the lost 70bht or so was a lesson for me and anyone else to learn.

so i pull in to the Shell gas station, immediately hop out so i can see the meter before they start pumping, to make sure it has been reset by the phi beta kappa attendent. they tried to distract me telling me i'm in the motorcycle only lane, but the other accomplice starts to put the nozzle into my car. the first accomplice has moved into position completely blocking my view of the meter. io tell him to move but he stands there, then i push him out of the way. the meter still wasnt reset. i blurted out "you no reset meter, you try to cheat me", but i caught it with maybe 1/2 second to spare.

this game has been going on for years at this station. i'm told other stations do similar things, but none does it 100% of the time as the Shell station.

verify with your own eyes so the crooks dont cheat you.

Thanks alot. I did go to one of the offices today and found out you have to reprogram the dish TWO TIMES everyday.... One time install and dish and decoder about 30,000bht with no monthly fee. Only about 35 channels (good english channels though) and the reprogramming thing was too much trouble.

Anyone have any expierience with The Dynasat satellite system company?
