Doubtful. But maybe "Sometimes" I guess.
The issue is them confirming a time/place for work, then flat out no-showing and not calling.
Arrange a time for workers, internet people, aircon service people etc. to come, plan your day to be there, and they don't come, or come extremely late, usually not calling either.
I mean I get it, I expect it, but everyone has jobs, responsibilities, and I don't know about anyone else but its very rare that I'm late for anything, and I never no-show if I confirm. Its not like its all that hard to time manage. They just don't care because its all about them, and who cares about the impact they have on others.
TIT of course, but its still frustrating sometimes.I just give them my number and go about my daily things and when they are at the front gate they call as they cannot get in due to electric gate and walls. They then wait until I come back home and let them in. Have never had one drive off and they are more than happy to wait for me. That way there is no stress on either party and no grey hairs from the worry. Mai pen rai

There as some pretty gorgeous katoys. Here is a princess that many of you could only dream of. Be a mind bender to see her on the bed in the white dress and have your brain doing backflips. Maybe be like a moped. "Good fun to ride but would hate for your mates to catch you on one." The young boy in the photo was her as a kid. Her name is Poy Treechahda.

The moment Thaksin absconded from charges that portion of the suit should have been null and void. He was a fugitive on the run therefore should have had no recourse for defamation charges. Also once the Thai Rak party was disbanded the rest of the defamation suit should be null and void. This was the only verdict they could give. Yes I would have thought that the person bringing the defamation action would have to be in court to explain how the defamation hurt him both financially and emotionally.

I really wonder about the motive of your posts, including this one.
In Thai there is a saying, which translates into something like, "the accused is innocent until proven guilty". If you think otherwise, it's great that you are only an armchair judge.
Here, the guy hasn't even been charged, yet you call him a "turd"?
Even if you disregard this case then the other of molesting of a disable woman would still put him in the TURD class

Charge them all! They need to come down hard on the officials in the area aswell because they are usually part to blame. Its illegal, its law. ENFORCE IT!
Thais dont know or understand the damage they cause. I have first hand experience. I live backed on to 200rai of government land. The villege headman is a corrupt peice of @#$_. The people have destroyed the land so much so the ground is so salty that not much can grow which has spread into my property wherebi have several hundred fruit trees., it flashfloods when it rains and resmbles a desert. Theres nothingbto hold the dirt anymore so everything just washes away.
Its one planet people!
Im not a greenie but see the carnage from these people and theres always an excuse.
Charge them and set an example. They might learn something.
Common problem. Seems a lot of pople in seasia are none the wiser to the damage they cause.
Before you go off on your hang them high rant it is always best to use your eyes than mouth. I know its a good chance to bash Thais but in this case it is wrong, as with most cases. Read the article properly. It is in Cambodia. "Fools rush in where angels fear to tread"

Seems a long way, 650+ klms, for an innocent man to run. That alone leads to credence that he has something to hide. Of course he may have just wanted to see mommy. Seems funny how these fugitives always feel the need to run back to hide behind mommys skirt.

Damn that was very bad luck. Of all the time for that to happen.

Hi, Need a condo for the wife to stay in Bangkok prior to her having our baby. For the first 2 weeks there will be her and her brother staying and in week 3 and 4 I will be back from work and staying also. He is ok with sleeping with his sleeping mat but want an enclosed bedroom. Want something with parking, security, and a reasonable standard. She will be having the child at Bumrungrad so close by the or in the Huay Kwang area so she can be close to her other brothers and their families. It will be from around 10th February until 10th March. Please show photos and give address or location. Thank you.

Offensive comments from removed post edited out.
I can understand you being a bit bitter Colin due to your predicament but please think of the others in this sad affair. A pretty horrible insinuation to level at a bereaved wife with a child. I am sure she wished the family had never come to Thailand so her family was still intact. May the wife and child find some happiness in the distant future after such a sad occasion.

3 months - would have missed at least 2 if not 3 period cycles, in all of that having unprotected sex during that time. Wouldn't be concerned?? Was she really that clueless or just didn't give a toss?
any possibility the holiday was booked prior to the 3 months? Most holidays are booked far in advance. Maybe her crystal ball was not working at the time, so was not aware she was to become pregnant just prior to her trip to Thailand. She Is 3 months pregnant and has been here for a month. My missus is due to have a baby in March and once the hospitals seen the insurance cover we had their eyes lit up. They went straight to the top drawer for the gouging tools. They are heathens. For an ultrasound and consultation should be around 4000 baht. I see on the bill she was also sent to Samui hospital so they could get their cut. Still at 103,000 is totally over the top. 70,000+ posts. Probably the best app for you would be "Get a life" app. This temporarily blocks TV for 15 minutes a day so you can actually do something else with your life.

"2,000 baht a night"
I've never paid more than 240. Except when I stay in BKK, then I pay 1400.
But that's for a modern architecture hotel--floor to ceiling glass window, modern style bathroom with----get this---a shower stall so the whole bathroom floor doesn't get wet when showering.
Does this hotel have that?
555, no this venue is for "geniuses" who think they know everything about everything ?
240 baht? Is that for paying the unwashed beggar under the bridge for the right to sleep next to him in the dirt? And 1400 tops in BKK. You do not mind sacrificing anything thing for comfort do you. Its the same with you high faluting rich kids. Ever have a bed bug problem from these high class establishments? And having a glass screen around a shower? That is so hi-so and a amazing idea. Who would have thought of that?

Police in Bangkok have announced the arrest of two Chinese men preying on the gullibility of old Chinese/Thai people
Could just have easily read "Police in Bangkok have announced the arrest of thousands of Thai girls preying on the gullibility of old bar fly farang." Of course that would never happen.

Not harsh at all. Do not break the law and you will be ok. They basically admitted they are guilty by saying so.

Are they going to put dolphins in after it is full of water from flooding?

"Do I need to die to end this and please all of you? If I wasn't the ‘Namzom Zomy’, would the story be big?" she wrote on Facebook today, despite the fact she put two innocent motorists in the hospital"
You don't need to die, sweetheart, but you could do the decent thing and start with an apology.
What and lose face? The others were wrong for being in her way. After all she is an " internet idol". (Sarcasm alert). As for the model part. Surely not.

Many on here married hookers, but call them bar girls to make themselves feel better. But she actually isnt a hooker is she? Are adult movie actresses prostitutes in the real sense of the word. I would imagine the old fella would not have her hanging off him if not for the hefty bank account. This is the thai lady way of looking at life financial security.

Just sad for the Parents.
The parents of child or parents of the young mother? Sounds like the parents and relatives of the young mother can only hear the sound and smell of money. It could be badly worded article that gives that impression also.

New Australian Embassy
in Bangkok
Posted
You would have thought service could get no worse but the new embassy has reached new heights. I left there wondering what their actual function is. The japanese embassy staff had easy access to the aussie embassy but i was given the full security, starting with the front gate who quiz you to no end to see if you are suitable to enter the sacred grounds. The staff actually ignored me and spoke thai to my wife. This i found very wrong. I thought it was my countries embassy for australians. But to ignore a citizen of the country and speak thai was wrong. Basically do not waste time with the embassy. Better of going to your local bar and ask advice. At least you may get spoken to in english. My bitch has been vented. Thanks
