I recommend Nigel Kelsey, he is English fysio/acupuncture working long time in Pattaya.

I had problems with my back and neck.

I went first to chiropractor in Pattaya and it got worse.

Then hear about Nigel, he also does acupuncture.

I am so much better now. He really helped me.

I still go to hem because need maintenance......sometimes.

If you want to try it, he is on soi Bongkot, go in the soi from Pattaya Thai, at the beginning of the soi right side.

I have a question.

I need to renew my passport only in a few years but I was thinking I had to send it to UK to renew now instead of go to the embassy.

Is the Trendy a new place where you can renew ?

Is it from the embassy or is it just a Thai office ?

When your car is 7 years old, you need to go check it before you can pay for government tax. They do it all at the same office, check for 200 bath + tax.

They go pay it for you for 100 bath extra.

Easy and cheap.

Can I still make new passport Uk in Bangkok embassy ?

I was told have to send it by DHL to UK itself with coloured pages of full passport enclosed.

Every month I need to go to immigration for a paper proof of life for my pension.

Its a free service.

One time I went and at reception a Thai and a farang volunteer told me........200 bath.

I asked them for a receipt.

Can not.

I said if I pay I want a receipt.

They gave me my paper which was already stamped and signed.....the farang gave me my passport back and spoke very badly with me, really threatening me.

Next month I went to another officer and no problem.

I paid 4 months ago 300 bath in Jomtien, 5 years before 200 for residence paper (driving lic.)

No receipt.

Its a free service normally but I say nothing.

Because when I went for life certificate which is always free (just a stamp and signature ) always no free.

Then 1 day (I need to go every month) at reception they said 200 bath !!!! I said no its a free service. But the farang and thai sitting there said , no its changed.

I said ok I would like a receipt please if I pay...........NO CAN

So I got the paper thrown at me and a warning from the volunteer farang !!!!!!!!! not come back here, go embassy there you pay 2000 bath.

But I went back next month to another nice farang volunteer and paid nothing.

Its not only in Phuket this corruption........in Pattaya immigration they are asking money all the time for normally free services ! When I asked a receipt they said....can not.

So I told them, if I have to pay I want a receipt...........they just put the paper in my hands and warned me not to come back next time............but I did because I need this paper every month......just went to another desk.......... (and even a farang volunteer was involved)

Has anybody have experience with life certificate for pension benefit.

Some say go to immigration, some say City hall or the amphur......

I know embassy does it but thats a long way to go....I have to do every month (stay Pattaya)

Before they told me immigration did it free service......but now they take 200 bath for it without receipt !!!!!!!!!!

I just bought ticket with Thai airways to Brussels but they also go London at 37.000 bath direct flight.

Its a promotion now.

Who in their right mind want to be Thai citizen. Ok if you have another nationality as well.

I have a friend who is married to thai but she kept her nationality, no problem. No need to show money in bank for visa.

Coronation street is not on all day !!!!!!!!!! and they have many more programs on, the best channel they had by far.

But that not interest you sure....only bars and beer...............but thats why some people come here ................Thailand is more then beer and bars or maybe thats not your thing.

www.onlinesat.tv.com/tv.php works and I can look ITV 1 and 2 online. ITV 3 and 4 not.

Problem is ITV asia has different programs for this area, which I was following.

Many of my friends and me phoned BTV cable, they said they are talking about it........... so sorry.....

I heared that on 3rd march the channel will recommence ! but what they will put I am not sure.........maybe ITV again if many people phoned them up to complain.

If not I will go to the office in Naklua on monday....

I already contact PME cable and Sophon but they not have ITV Granada.......maybe later they said.......sure they want our custom.

Next month I have to renew my contract for 1 year with BTV but if like this I will not..........

I also tried the www.itv.com/itv player and I got adobe flash , put english IP adress but they said .....cant play in your area !!!!!!!!!! this would have been good because you can look the programs the next day. I just had 1 IP number ....so maybe need to try another ?

Banglamung cable does same thing , give english movies in thai en subtitles thai also........how stupid.

ITV channel (Granada english) has disappeared from BTV cable.

they said they not renew contract.

Many farang look this channel, its the best channel they have on BTV.

Why they cancel it ???

Anybody can help phone BTV to ask to put it back again please.

Someone on forum told me I can see the series emerdale and cononation street next day but
