Hello All. Is This place still open please ??. Website does not work. Phone number does not work. And if so, is it worth taking my family and a friends family for dinner on a Friday nite !!!

Some advice needed please. A friend of mine living in Thailand has fallen on hard times. Normal stuff, Thai girlfriend, failed bar etc. He has maxed out his UK credit cards and now has no money left in his bank in the UK to pay. One of his patrons has told him the credit card company will sell his debt to a Thai debt collector. He is now worried  that  might have repercussions on his Visa status and also his well being if the bailiffs come looking for him. Does anyone have any useful advice or had similar experience. He has no plans on going back to face the music.

To be fair, why should they stop building weapons. Would the UK. America or Russia stop building weapons if China told them to. In a democratic world every country is responsible for their own actions. This will never be a war. If America fire a single bullet, South Korea will get pummeled before America were able to win. Trumps bluff has been called and he has lost. Send your boats home. And before I am accused of being a human rights wannabee. I am not. I just don't see how this could be resolved without a lot of  casualties on both sides. If they really want Gangnam gone, they need to send in Jason Bourne.   

Hello. I have been an idiot and locked my key in the safe. The number pad died a death a long time ago. Does any one have any HELPFUL ideas on how to open the safe. I know I could probably get a thai to cut me a new key however I was hoping there may be other solutions. If not I might ask KIm Jong Un if I can borrow one of his nukes. Thankyou

He is scamming you regardless. If its in the contract and you signed it there will not be much you can do. I would suggest if you are wanting to get it paid have the person who rear ended you provide you was a like car for the rest of your business time there. You can pay the bill for the one while it is at the shop and then it's a wash. Other options are going to involve courts or lawyers and case that's a lose / lose situation. Wish you luck let us know how this pans out.

This is not a scam. What a ridiculous comment. The owner of the car is losing potential rental money every day the car is in the garage. He has every right to charge the customer. As soon as you take the car, it becomes your responsibility. He sighed the contract. Period !!

Well, many of these go-go bars can shutdown and die anyway, since they are prostitution venues and don't really attract anything positive. The best case scenario for Thailand is to transform its tourism industry to a more family oriented hub, instead of being a pedophile paradise for old western men. Nothing could be better than to send these former prostitutes back to their villages and start building up their future once and for all, and at the same time these low income lazy doers should return back to their home countries as well.

If Thailand is going to transform its economy for the better, it must do what is right and take the medical pill asap. Thais are basically one of the worst people to do business in terms of understanding economics and this transformation is indeed necessary.

Many of you guys are complaining that the Chinese aren't spending any money. They do in fact spend money and if you look in comparison how much they are making that makes them big buck spenders. They are also enjoying their vacations much better than an old westerner who much of the time only spends their holidays drinking cheap boos. No wonder why this place has become a stinking pig.

Very easy to tell bar girls to simply go back to their villages and earn 150 baht a day picking mango's. Thailand made its name on the entertainment business and hundreds of thousands of Thais have improved their standard of living doing so. Would you be happy to live on rice and what dad caught last nite ? It's easy to judge from an ivory tower. They have no future in the village, that's why they choose this way of life.

Tropical Berts in Khao Noi rocks. Half a chicken, sausage and bacon, stuffing and a huge ensemble of veg for 210 baht. Great value and great taiste. Plus a large San Mig is only 85 baht.

Please could anyone suggest a half decent hotel that has family rooms in Pattaya. I have a young family, 2 boys (ages 3&6) and of course, the trouble and strife. I need a room with two doubles or a double and two singles. Budget 3000 baht a nite. Want a nice pool and kids pool and good prices for food and beer round the pool. I have searched countless hotels on Agoda and it seems that no one caters for family rooms or extra beds cost a premium. I live in Pattaya, so know the area well, just need a couple of days away from the darkside. I last stayed at the Royal Sabai Resort, however the rooms there would now be too small. Something similar to that or East Sea Resort would be great.

Your attitude astounds me. If you do not like what you hear on Thai Visa, then do not come on here asking for advice. And if you are that concerned about your girlfriends financial status, why not give her 3000 baht a month and be done with it.. You seem to enjoy labeling people on Thai Visa.. Sorry but rental insurance is not available for a single bike. Only possible for a rental company with multiple bikes.

If you are going to rent the bike out, the customer is responsible for any damage or for the possible loss of your bike. You need to have a contract with the renter and they should pay you a deposit. You also need a copy of passport or drivers licence. If you are renting to a farang, then you should also check their visa status and departure date.

Agree with Cherrys, I have seen Lamb Shanks on many menus around town. I cook them at home and pay about 300 baht for 2 decent sized ones.

My wife has expensive tastes. She is thai, however loves all things British. Can anyone tell me a restraunt where I can go to buy here decent sized Lamb Shanks at a good price. I live on the dark side, however the light side is not so scary. I am not quite in the Manhattans Bracket though....

Thanks to everyone. Just thought I'd let you know I soldthe bike for 60000 baht.. It seems 40000 baht was way off the mark.

+/- B60,000, although I have seen one advertized for more than B70,000 and less than B55,000. Add-ons don't affect the selling price very much. I have never seen a low mileage, 2007 sell for less than B50,000. The Phantom TA200 is discontinued -- there is no new Phantom available at the moment, so Phantoms in good condition with low kms tend to hold their value. The silver color will take a thousand + Baht off the price, but if you ask B60k you should get an offer reasonably close to that. There will be a new Phantom 250cc sometime this year, and when it comes out the old Phantom 200 will fall significantly in price IMO.
