  1. Answers in this thread sure make up for the lack of prejudice this last weeks of protest hmm?

Simple answer, you'll meet them everywhere. I guess it easier to meet tattooed persons if you have tattoos yourself (I've had girls full of tattoos walk up to me at malls because they saw my tattoos, well when straight forward girl like that come up I would say hit n run 9 out of 10 times) or is either attending the indie music scene or well, visit a tattoo studio? I have several friends who has a lot of tattoos, all study at universities like Bangkok U, Silpakorn or Chulalongkorn, but it's mostly people who study fine arts, film directing or music etc. I don't know if thats the kind of area you take part of here, or if you have friends that age. I had a good laugh together with my friends today about some of the answers in this thread. My girlfriend has 7 tattoos and study last year at Art History Silpakorn, and really liked hearing all tattooed Thai girl are bar girls.. It's all about your surroundings gents. Don't be a dick about things you have nu clue about.

Also to make it easier, what kind of tattoos are you looking for? There is so many variations, and the people wearing them can differ a lot.

  2. Pad pong kari (yellow curry with rice, usually eat it with fish, crab or beef), Pad see ew gai, Kao man gai, Som tam, Paneng, Massaman, Pad krapow etc. But since I moved to my new apartment I mostly ate japanese, there is some really nice places at Gateway Ekkmai. Indian and muslim food here is a big favourite as well, I'm big for any lamb or paneng with roti.

  3. I don't recommend buying from play-asia as any box/package with play-asia is picked up in customs and they'll make you pay.

Local dealers is better, atleast you can test it before buy it.

Besides, it is 550 usd on play asia, it ain't cheap.

    Price: US$ 549.00 (THB~17,596)

For 17.5 - 18k it is better to buy HK asia import from local dealers.

19.990 baht from Sony Thailand is a rip off. It seems they sell expensive in order to not lose money on console because they don't expect Thai to buy several original games for each console sold.

I just bought a Singapore Region PS4 for 17,500 baht from MBK today. The shop is called ProGame Shop on the 6th floor of MBK. Tel (02) 611-7009. They also had the KillZone bundle for 19,200 baht.

Just wonder, the power adaptor dosent fit in my walls, anyone else have this problem, where is a good place to find singapore to thai adapter?

  4. From what I know they are said to arrive somewhere around 19-22th this month according to all different stores sell it, with the 19th being the date most believe it will come. I ordered from 4Player at Central Pinklao and they set the 19th as their date. Looking forward and hope it comes tomorrow!

  5. Been looking forward to be getting my hands on the PS4, hopefully this year, but seeing as PS3 was released in Thailand in late 2009 (!), perhaps we shouldn't hope on it reaching this year. I guess there is a big chance it won't take as long as last time. Good news however was that Singapore got PS3 before even Europe in 2007, and if Sony follow a similiar pattern this time it look like a trip to Singapore will have to do.

  6. I wouldn't recommend that computer. I think you can find something much better for around 40.000 baht. The biggest problem is the gfx card, it just dosen't hold up

against other cards on the market now. I would also suggest that you aim at something with at least 8 gb ram, as thats what Ps4 and probably the new Xbox will have.

Otherwise most looks ok, but perhaps aiming at a bluray reader is a good planning for future as games will be bigger and the time of dvd is coming to an end in the coming years.

In short everything looks ok except I would say get at least 8 gb ram, a better gfx card and bluray reader if you can. Look at the ps4 spec, and google on gaming computers around

    40.000-45.000 baht for further help.
