Thats it!...1) Good water...From the equipment: Zanussi, because they produce also all these Miele, Bosch, Siemens, Bauknecht, Constructa, Electrolux, AEG etc. machines
Ah, I forgot... maybe you like to buy american?? Than it's a Whirlpool.

No problem with a centruple exchangeratequadruple pricing. -
Fail economically?
Of course!
My money would buy me more, and more than 90% of the Thaipopulation wouldn't even recognize any changes in their lives .

Yeah,Oh well done pal.The OP seems a nice caring guy who has
a good relationship with his wife.
So why not throw a bit of paranoia his
way to make him feel better ?
Why not??
Maxidad, as the "caring guy" (TROLL?) you should go see a Doctor and get your wife a X - ray examination...
Was this "absent" kidney from any interest during her pregnancy??
Is the scar on her back- or frontside? How old is your wife?
400 000 ฿ for a kidney???
Today, after further questioning, my suspicions were confirmed that she sold her kidney for cash.
Sorry, farangsay, but this guy is already paranoid (TROLL?...).

Dont take this behaviour personal,One useful tip on etiquette might be for Immigration officers when having finished processing the documents of outgoing or incoming foreigners not to toss the passport rudely back while looking sideways at nothing in particular. It's a variation on the old British Rail booking clerk attitude, now thankfully gone.Basis is as follows, "I'm basically a rather poorly educated minor functionary but I have the capacity to make life awkward for you for the next few minutes."What's the Thai for "jobsworth", I wonder?it's just selfdefence, you have no idea what it means to deal with fellowbeings day- to- day by thousands...
Wai-ing like a Lotus- cashier?? Please, exempt me from this!

Over 70 percent of Thais diagnosed with hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and hyperlipidemia...
Yeah,
and the remaining 30% have the serious illnesses like AIDS, colon/liver- cancer, hepatitis...

Gallivanting??A sad accident. How come they were not in school teaching instead of galivanting around on field trips?
No mention of any pupils being involved.
We had just the "Teachers-day" and many schools are doing an excursion arround this time... what's wrong with that??
I've heard that 21 people were killed, not only teachers, also familymembers...
No pupils being involved? Perhaps not in the accident but try to think about a school who just lost 13 teachers by a tragic accident

This is exactly the reason...I got an O visa at the consulate in Savannakhet about 1 year ago (!). If you applied in the morning before midday the Visa was ready for pickup after 3pm the same day.Not sure why this would change, apart from maybe the increase in people wanting tourist visas.
Thanks again to Bb for the actual information.
-
Bb, some great info, thanks for your contribution!

I would say not free in Thailand is still better than free in Irak...Rather be not free here, than "free" in the USA or London.Mmm? Rather be not free here, than not free in the Congo also methinks?

There is a nice aquarium in Bang Saen, it,s given to the Thais from the Japanese, only 20฿ admission fee, after that, you can enjoy the clean, broad beachroad (100x better than in Pattaya) or lend a bicycle and cruise around.
Siracha? We have a member here who could provide some good information but last time we spoke about Siracha he said there are already too much Tourists/Expats so you better avoid this place.
Behind Chonburi is Ang sila with it's oysterbed, a nice Chinese Temple, and the famous granite stone-masoning.
Take any Bus in direction BKK and just tell the busboy were you like to go, he will let you out at the right place (this means near a motorbiketaxi, songteow etc., closest to your destination).
-
I am too......BTW, I can absolutely think of which of the involved who probably used most sense when on the Jetski...I wouldnt let a Chinese operate a deckchair by himself or cross Pattaya Beachroad unattended...
You think this is racist? Do a visit to the Pattaya Memorial or Pattaya International Hospital for further confirmation.

If I remember right, than ilyushin is a pilot......so I am curious ilyushin ? what makes you such an expert that your opinion on this matteris worth more than that of IATA ?

Yes, at Big C, Pattaya Nguea, 5 kg black powder, no TNT or plastic, quite harmless... but enough for " Bit Kao!"I will be going to thailand soon. I need to know, as family keep asking, has there been any bombs in pattaya.I have a friend there at the moment he says there has been 2.
And a thai girl we know says 3.
Can anyone confirm this?

And... Yes, Pong Nam Ron feels more like a Pong Nam Yen ...Why on Earth take such a risk by pushing it to try and get his 4th 90 30-dayer ( He stayed 3 times a' 30 days = 90 days ), ESPECIALLY after being warned after his 3rd?Now on overstay, no matter where he goes to try and apply for a tourist visa is going to raise an eyebrow and be possible cause for rejection of that application.
Seems like a terribly risky gamble... and he's lost.

Hello BR,My 3 months of entry on arrival are up on Jan 23. My pasport expires Jan 22. The embassy can process the new passport in 14 days. This means I will be on overstay for about 5-6 days. Can I go to immigration an show them that the new passport in being processed and that I will be overstaying for 5-6 days. Meaning paying the fees, but not being arrested.
Will a Thai consulate grant a tourist visa after seeing the overstay stamp on a new passport?
BR
You are a member of TV for over 3(!) years?? When did you actually visit this side the last time???
If I remember right you need a min. 1/2 year valid passport to obtain any kind of visa..., so, how could you get a VOA beyond the validity of your passport????..., Troll?????

The Thai government says I must go away...
I didn't know that we were in the Thai language part of the forum?
You didn't know...
but I couldn't memorize an English or German word (and than translate it to English...) for สมเพศ "somped" - and this after only a few years in Thailand... 17(!) years... and not able to communicate like an adult? ( insert a headshaking Emoticon), how braindead have one to be?

Sorry for the young boy ,
I always give the following welcome-note to friends and relatives arriving at the airport...:
WELCOME TO THE 3. WORLD, SELFRESPONSIBILITY STARTS HERE! In my further explanations I give the advice not to believe in smiles, words, building- constructions, pedestrian facilities or any kind of transportation...
The second part is: Do not touch any plant , animal or electronics before asking me ( And yes, this even includes a light switch! )... until now, no problems at all...

Hey,...Nevertheless, no disorders took place during the gathering, and the peaceful protest took only an hour...they were all sober - what would one expect??

Richard, you are spot on! But I would say keep everything like it is and make U- tapao to an real international airport and allow all these "Thailandtourists" to book the real xxx- Pattaya ticket instead of the mendacious xxx- BKK one!I think this project has more to due with prostitution in Pattaya than anything else. If Pattaya's only attraction was a buddhist temple then I think there would be no traffic. There are many beaches along that coast that don't suffer from the traffic congestion problems that Pattaya sufferes from. Get rid of the "working girls" and you won't need a high speed train.Imagine all the tax dollars you could save. But saving those tax dollars buy getting rid of the working girls would spell doom for the city of Pattaya. Pattaya depends on them girls like fish depend on water. Without them, the city would dry up and blow away.
It would be a morality tsunami that would have the same effect on tourism that the real tsunami had a Phuket. It would be possible to fill part of the void with some morally acceptable types of entertainment but I doubt it would be enough to create the traffic problem of 20,000 cars daily in the province.
Speaking of cars traveling in a province, I'm sure there are other cities in Thailand with more than 20,000 cars traveling in their province too.
No High-speed Railway nor Suvarnabhumi Airport would be needed...

...I am not sure why some posters feel the need to throw in US murder rates/gun control policies etc etc when neither the perpetrator, nor the victims were American, nor were they in the US. What goes on in the US has absolutely no relevance to the story whatsoever...
Hypocrisy at it's best...everybody with a brain could imagine which direction this thread will take after the drivel from junkie-expat... all these Super- Moderators failed big time keeping this sad news on topic!
Etiquette Training For Immigration Officers At Suvarnabhumi Airport

Take a stopwatch, stand in front of a mirrow and say: "Thank you" while taking the time... 1, or, if you make a friendly "Thank you", 2 seconds will passing by.
Now let's combine it with a fast, mechanical "Welcome to Thailand" or " Sawasdee krap/ka" + Wai, so we have about 6 sec per person.
Let's say our immi-officer has about 500 people per shift, so this adds up to 3000 seconds or 50 mins.
Let's say our immi-officer has about 6 shifts per week, 50 weeks a year, 40 years until retierement, so this is adding up to 416,666667 days for simulated kindness towards swathes of human flotsam ( ) in his worklife... if I were the immi-officer I would tell you to ###### OFF!
Post 48 from you explained it all, you are a cry-baby
