    This might sound rude but I can't understand how expats here esp if they are retired can have their wife/gf working for that sort of money per day.

    Means you can't go and travel etc etc.

    My gf doesn't work for that very reason. If we were in AU sure she could work and get at least 600/hour.

    I could go home for a month and make 180000bath.

    How could I have her work in Thailand

    <deleted>...... theblether has just annoyed my wife....he took me out and melted me. THAT'S rob and smokie plus me landed in hospital because of theblether in the last 4 weeks.

    I am the owner of a restaurant near Tai Pai gate. We just had the same guys here.

    I was upstairs but my staff dealt with it. my wife showed them the music licence on the wall, but they still wanted money, so her cousin told them to leave, he is pretty fearless.

    Also my wife got on the phone to police straight away, they showed her their fake policeman, but she insisted on the police she knows being here.

    They quickly ran off. They had tried it on at the bar next door but they told them to go away too.

    I think if I, an Englishman, had tried to sort it out myself things could have been pretty hard.
