If you are in Bangkok you could go to the BananaIT outlet shop at Seacon Square.  They often have iPads at decent prices.  They may be demo models or older models.  They also do iPhones and android phones, laptops, monitors and other stuff.

Has anyone been to MTT on a Saturday and managed to do a 90 day report?

What is the newest requirement for this?  I am currently on a 1 year extension based on supporting Thai children and used the Bt 40k p.m income option.

I bought the 12 mini from that store in the 8/8 sale.  Arrived 2 days later, all sealed up.  Turned on and it immediately updated to the latest iOS, the I put next to my iPad and they synced and set up the phone.  I got the 3 months free offers on Apple Arcade and Apple TV+.  It also shows that AppleCare coverage is available via Settings.

It certainly isn't fake, nor second hand and I am perfectly happy with it.

We are looking to move to Roi Et soon.  We were advised we'd need to do a 14 day quarantine.  However, if someone already lived there then you could not quarantine there.  Apparently a lot of people are quarantining at their rice farms if they have a wooden hut there ????

You could also wait until you need to renew your extension of stay and pay Bt 2k, or Bt 1k if you don't need a receipt.  No red stamps in your passport either.

Of course, as ThaiFish states, it gets expensive if you're arrested or checked before you report.

Seen the 10 Pro in a few shops but cant recall seeing the Poco.  Maybe they have in a Mi shop.  There is a service centre in Fortune.

A grade A replica Rolex Sub is more like US$ 4-500, not Bt 3k, and no Bt 3k replica will not be absolutely perfect.  Any authorised dealer would instantly spot that the watch was not real, especially if they adjusted the strap.  They may have resized it for you, but they certainly wouldn't have been fooled.

It could be that your CoR was just addressed to DLT in general, not a particular province.  Or, more likely, it was that the Roi-Et officer was interpreting the rules incorrectly.

I went back the next day with my Work Permit and they still refused to renew my licence as I live in Bangkok.  I showed them their website stating WP was acceptable but she was adamant and said that the website was incorrect and needed updating.  My wife went downstairs and complained to the information desk.  The big boss called us into his office and after a chat he agreed to let me renew there.

The annoying thing was that my wife had called them a few days previously and asked exactly what they needed for a foreigner, living in Bangkok usually, to renew at their office and we gave them what they asked for.

This was 2 weeks ago.

Be careful on this.  I got a CoR from Bangkok Immigration but the driving licence renewal office in Roi-Et wouldn't accept it as it was addressed to DLT, Bangkok.

We sold some office furniture a while ago and most of the buyers used Lalamove.  You book online choosing the size and weight of the goods and they send the nearest available bike/car/van.  Prices seemed decent and the deliveries were fast.

I can confirm that the MFA office at Klong Toei MRT will legalize documents as I have used their services.  I got the documents translated elsewhere though.  I dropped off one day and picked up the next.  I cannot remember the cost.

There is also a separate office at the same MRT station that Thais can renew IDs and passports.

I applied for a certificate of residence this morning at the temporary place at Muang Thong Thani.  They needed the application form and copies of the receipt of notification of 90 day report, information page of passport, current visa, arrival date stamp and the T.M.6 departure form.  They confirmed my address via the 90 day report, so did not require any proof of address.  They also said they did not need any photo.

The fee was Bt 200 per letter and the certificate would be posted to my home address within 2 weeks.  They gave me an EMS tracking number.

Is this correct ?! No horse poo that you need to match up with connection times in Dubai, or arrival in Bangkok? The legit test would be MONDAY 2PM ? 

The London Embassy advised me the following:

"For the COVID test and fit to fly, the results must be within 72 hours, so if the results are dated 11 or 12 Sept, even if you take the test on 10 or 11 Sept, it is ok."

This is for the London-BKK flight on 13th.  So it is the date of the result that is important, not the date of the actual test.

As to whether it is before the London flight or the Dubai flight I would contact the embassy.  The standard e-mail is slow at responding, but the officer who e-mailed me confirming my seat was very quick at responding to queries.

@ NanLaew, is there any particular pawn shop or area that has decent second hand guitars?

I have one and its pretty good. The lack of apps is a little annoying, but I can watch most movies on it via USB as well as Netflix, ILikeHD etc. I do work on it at home using Office. The battery life is good and its light.

The touchcover keyboard is ok for light use, but if you will do a lot of typing then the typecover one is better.

You need to root the device.

Go to the Minix forum for X8 and get Gufones small root file (custom ROM's and Kernels) and follow the installation instructions.... it worked for me.

DNS settings can be changed in the network wifi or ethernet settings.
