Had a registration card in Korea and have one now in Japan. Got a five year visa here so no trips to immigration until it's time to renew my visa. Developed countries do have their advantages at times.

It seems Thailand has been trying to become a dry country for years. Years ago I had a friend come visit me in Bangkok. He had been working in Saudi for six months and was really looking forward to having a beer. But since there was an election on the weekend, we could not drink. Never mind that we are not Thai citizens and can not vote. My friend was not impressed. Thailand is its own worst enemy.

Eh, went there last summer for a few hours. A few nice sights, but not much to do there.

Can't buy booze but can still smoke away even though it's proven that the virus hits those with damaged lungs harder. 

Go outside even day. Take the train to the gym four times a week and somehow I am still alive. One good thing about this is I now know who I would never want to share a foxhole with. Enjoy your terror chicken littles.
