Terminal 21 at the dolphin roundabout has lots of very acceptable restaurants --- over twenty and stacks of other shops and facilities AND the Sandbar restaurant in Jomtien is excellent with many live music nights .

You don't say how much its costing you for storage , nor how much you think the stuff is worth were you to require it in the near future . Those are the important questions to answer before you make a decision .

In Thai year 2551 my 5 year licences were renewed for 10 years each . That was after the two years was renewed with 5 years - then i got the 10 year ones . Unfortunately I failed the renewal in 2561 . Too lazy to convert the years ...you can do that .

Joe . I have a friend over Kanchanaburi way who has been to three different immigration offices and been told he cannot extend his non O multi entry as his visa expired on 1 July . They say he can only extend on a current visa . I understood that visas had been extended to 31 July . His non O expired on 1 July and last entry expired 28th May.

A friend of mine in Kanchanaburi area has been to three immigration departments re extending his Non O multi entri for 60 days to be with his wife . All say that as his visa expired on 1 July he cannot . He last entered on the 28 May - well within the criteria seemingly allowing extension

It's all a misunderstanding . Big C asks for your passport when you're entitled to a discount - just verifying that the Big C card is yours . If you don't present the passport you don't get the discount - but you do the next time you shop - IF you show your passport

I got a multiple entry 'o' visa at Hanoi two years ago - so , I don't think you need to change your plans . I haven't seen any refusals meantime .

Air Asia do reasonable flights from U-Tapao to Hat Yai . From there can access Malaysian Borders Including Langkawi - via Satun . Did it last year and was very happy with it .

So it seems HCMC is the safest bet for non O multi based on marriage ?

Several years ago I got a Non 'O' in Hanoi . Has anyone done this recently . I've browsed 100 pages and found nothing . I assume not everyone does a report after a trip - so I hope someone out there can help . Thank you in anticipation.

I had an Evisa as I spend most of the year in Thailand . I do not have Australian residence . I have only ever applied for the multi entry 'o' visa so can't say in regard to single entry . I have owned a house in Australia which I kept solely for visits lasting several months at a time .

Australian consulate in Sydney is very good for multi-entry non O's based on marriage - IF you can show residence in Australia . I have a British passport but had to show electricity bills and rates notice . So not really suitable if you can't produce this kind of evidence .
-
I'm surprised no-one has suggested he get a non O based on the children ! As he normally leaves Thailand every 60 days he would not need an extension . He would just need to pay for a new Non O every 14 months or so .

If it is an UK passport -NO PROBLEM . I have just renewed a British passport this week - Collected Wednesday 26th September. As long as you elect to collect the new passport personally , they give you back the old passport -UNCANCELLED , for ID purposes . You must take the old passport back to VFS when collecting the new passport . You hand in the old passport before they hand-over the new passport . They then cut off the corners on the old passport and hand it back together with a letter to immigration asking them to transfer your extension to the new passport . So , get your application in immediately AND elect to go to collect the new one personally . I was amazed at how short a time it took to get the new passport ONE WEEK from applying .good luck .

Did this require a Myanmar visa sticker being put in passport ?

Local guarantor can be left blank.
You could put your wife's name as the one for here.
Form from their website: http://www.thaiembassy.org/abudhabi/contents/files/services-20120705-180020-288642.pdf
Thank you Ubonjoe .

I am intending to go to HCMC for a non O marriage multi . The form has a section for a 'local Guarantor' and another for a Thai Guarantor . My wife ( Thai) will be accompanying me , we're having a five day ' break' . I assume I leave these sections blank ? . I've looked on the relevant forum including Paddy's recent report but this question was not addressed . As it's a common form , I assume the answer will be the same for all locations ? Paddy ? Did you leave blank ? regards ,

Adding a new socket.

Don't use any intermediate connection wire directly to the new socket from '!' perhaps using the cable currently going to '2' as you suggest and use 2.5 flat cable from the new to '2' most hardware shops have plastic ducting you could use ... the easiest have sticky backs ..you peel off the covering paper put the duct where you wish it to be then clip .. if necessary it can be beneficial to drill through the plastic base .... I find putting a piece of wooden chopstick into the drilled hole is perfect for clipping
