Yes, that's correct.
I am 62 , so that shouldn't be a problem. I'll get in touch with immigration as you suggest...
Thank you.
Please update us with what you are told.

Pee paub - Thanks for that. The only problem with a retirement visa is that it does not allow me to work.
Mattd - thanks for that. My daughter will be with me in the UK and I have her birth certificate. I will be going to the Glasgow Consulate.
I think I will go for the multiple entry at pop out every 90 days.
Just these questions need clarified
Do I have to leave the country every 90 days and re-enter only. No applications at an embassy required.
Do I have to apply for the multi entry O visa at my home country or any country with an embassy? Do I have to have my daughter there with me with photos in a home situation (even though we are in the UK) when applying?
Will the visa state 1 year?
You're welcome Mr. Synchronise. I was just reporting what she told me, in particular about the maximum age limit, not suggesting a retirement extension is the solution for you.

Another thing you should perhaps consider - Jomtien immigration told me I could only qualify for this type of extension until my children reached 20 years old. She suggested I switch to a retirement extension.

At the moment, the OP would possibly get a fine "if" immigration becomes aware a TM30 has not been submitted for this stay. The only way they become aware is if you have business at immigration. The OP mentions that he leaves Thailand often, if he does a TM30 next re-entry he will be legal and they wont levy a fine for any previous stay without a TM30.
What I am saying to the OP is stay off the radar for now and do a TM30 next re-entry. Once you re-enter thailand, any previous stay without a TM30, is null and void, no fine.
If the OP races down and puts in a TM30, thinking he is doing the right thing, most likely get a fine.
I did exactly this yesterday in Jomtien. Submitted the TM30 after reentering Thailand after a 6 week trip. I'm on a Retirement Extension, and there was no check if I had submitted the form after my other entries and no fine. It sure is interesting to now have to report the same address first at the airport then next day at your local office.

I finally did the TM30 chore for the first time yesterday at Jomtien. I'm on a Retirement Extension but travel in and out of Thailand regularly. I seemed to have avoided a fine by submitting the form after my latest arrival. I suspect if I hadn't left the country before submitting the form, they would have checked back to my previous entry and fined me accordingly. Of the six or seven Russians ahead of me in line, I say only one paying a four hundred Baht fine. Paperwork-wise, I just used the Immigration SOP - got signed copies of house book, lease, house owner's id, lease holder's id, and the regular pp pages. And keep your sense of humour. All to report the same address I reported the day before at the airport.

Moped is a misnomer for sure, but good enough slag for the non-discerning mind.
My friend refers to his Harley his "scoot."
To me a moped has pedals;
underbone = wave type; aka "cub",
Motor mounted on the swing-arm = a scooter.
All are motorcycles, motorbikes, cys, mocys, motos, fun.
As Bob Dylan sang:
"I don't want a pickle,
I just want to ride my motor sickle."
...or was it Arlo Guthrie?
Scoot - short for Scooter Tramp, what we were called back in the 70's if U rode HD.
And it was Arlo
Dylan sang the Classic "Comin' into Los Angeles, Bringin' in a couple of Keys ..."
That was also Arlo.

Another controverial post from Redandyellow, but perhaps not so when dissected: "On the flip side of the coin however, she gave me unbridled permission to go see short time bar girls whenever I wanted, telling me "Farang have to have sex, cannot wait.. go see bar girl have sex her, you no love her..I not care."
I can only read into that comment from a potential future partner, that she doesn't give a toss about you and will not care if you don't come back from your wanderings! don't look forward to a hot time in the sack, there's not going to be any!
Do you really want someone as cold blooded as this iceberg? say goodbye before she chills you to the bone!
You can read into it anything you wish. My point in posting was to throw out the truth - that many Thai decent women won't jump into bed right away, especially educated ones that have been in lots of relationships already, and found putting out right away wasn't necessarily always the default way to operate.
If some of you think the post is a thinly veiled stab at others - it ain't. 10 years ago I was very attracted to bar girls, but shied away as I was only in Thailand 3-4 months a year. I figured they'd be onto something better than I..soon after I F'd off back to Canada - at least all the stories showed that would probably be the case..
I wanted to get married ONCE - so I lessened the chances for a divorce..I waited almost a year to have sex with her, and when we got married in Bangkok at the Canadian embassy in 2008, she wanted sex bad.. as soon as we got back to the hotel, and has ever since.. 7 years and counting.
The moral? lots of farang have experienced the same thing.. but perhaps would not post in this venue, for fear of the devils advocates, a lot of farang don't wanna hear the truth I guess, and the truth is that sometimes waiting is worth it, PERIOD
I posted to throw out the idea that it's okay not to follow the crowd, and do it the old fashioned way

You got married at the Canadian embassy in Bangkok?

Yep, I'm wrong, mind you may have noticed someone beat you to it....So he says all this happened, not the airline. And he happens to have a picture of the guy sat in his seat before anything happened.
Hmm,
Hmm, you think he tie-wrapped himself to the seat before anything happened?
Perhaps you've never noticed, but it is very easy to respond to a post before other responses appear in the forum.
Always read through before I post myself.
Though to be honest it would be better if I employed the same policy towards looking at pictures as well before posting.
Will do so henceforth for sure
We live to learn.
Or not as the case may be.[/quote
Congratulations, but you still don't get it - there were no responses
to your post showing when I tried to point out your error.

I had this happen to me once but thankfully nobody was killed. I had my indicators on and was turning right, obviously I was in the inside lane, as I turned a stupid person on a motorcycle, obviously going to fast on in the oncoming lane, decide to pass me and slammed into the right side of the truck. He and his passenger admitted fault and we took him to the hospital. Whilst at the hospital, six family members showed up, collaborated and decided the accident was my fault. I would not be surprised if this accident occurred in a similar manner.
I sure would be.

I don't see any mention of the truck having it's turn signals on, only that it "...turned abruptly...". So what side would you suggest the "moron" use to pass?"...both vehicles were going in the same direction,... when the motorcycle sped in an attempt to pass the cement truck."
"At that moment the truck turned abruptly into Phuket Cement Co, across the path of the bike."
Meaning, the bike was trying to pass him on the right side.
I've had morons do that to me countless times while I've had my signal on.
Are you for real pee paub???
I have always thought so.

Too bad - sounds like you were making a go of it. Hope you can get a fair price for your business and Mobi's can carry on into the future, while Mobi regains his health and enjoys many more stress free years together with his new wife.

Actually if you read news from sources other than this one, (BKK post for example), this is exactly what they propose, passengers
wait at Victory Monument and the vans will be sent when all the seats are sold. And "of course", since it is only proposed as a temporary solution, Khun Prapas has now given the proposal the green light.
Sorry, don't know how the quote got separated from the response.

The moving of the vans is to ease traffic flow
so lets look at this closer
the 2 biggest van companies park vheicles off the rd
one uses the shopping centre rear car park
the other has its own lane off the street where the vans stop
so with this info will they not have to move as they do not affect traffic flow
at the moment vans sit there untill they are full this could be 10 -30 mins
a better plan is not to allow vans to park on the street, just do a pick up and go
sell you tickets and when you have the numbers call the driver on a two way and the van comes picks up the passengers and gone
this will take way less than 5 mins
From VM it is a quick drive around the block and off they go
from the new site they will have to join one of the worst traffic jams in Bkk in the afternoon
and of coarse non of this takes into account that the owners of the land they want to uses have said no, thet they are ready to lease this land

But all it says is, "... listen and gather all views from the police themselves.". I don't have much confidence that this will lead to any of the very much needed changes.

I hate these news articles who do not provide the background.
What is the problem with the mine?
Perhaps you should pay heed to Scott Adams.

You could have taken the three year package including installation when it first came about, for 25,000 baht .
Given that Sky TV would cost substantially more and you don't get to choose which game you watch it's pretty fair IMO.
So continue to watch You porn then.
You are being rude to yourself?

Lunatic!
NO....Slipperhead....YOU are the lunatic. Although I do not agree with the "we are guests" BS....but the small business support is my way of a just world....go to Starbuck's much....do ya?

Fast track immigration services?
in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits

I've used these guys a couple of times and they were excellent. They took me to the aircrew immigration counter bypassing even the regular fasttrack line. Avoiding the normal immigration zoo is well worth the price for me.
