Like Asia2000 I have used this company for several years and never had any real problems. As someone has already pointed out the six seater service is only available for the Cambodia runs, the Laos trip is always on a 9 seat bus. I have done both trips on numerous occasions and was always made aware of the bus capacity for each relevant trip.As far as I am aware they are not advertising the Laos trip as a 6 seat service, but will check this next time I am in the Queen Vic.Sounds to me like you have misinterpreted the services available and are getting yourself wound up for nothing.

If they pay you 1 million baht for a debt you don't think you can recover yourself...why over think it? Take the money.
Because i want to know if it is legal or not to do so.

Can anyone tell me if it is legal to in Thailand to sell on a debt ?
I have a client who owes me 2M baht and i have been offered 1M baht for it by a debt collecting agency.
If they get it then they are 1M up but if they dont they are obviously 1M down. But they seem confident in taking it on and i wondered if this type of arrangement is allowed in Thailand.

Does anyone know of any where in Pattaya that i could rent a fork lift truck for the day ?
I have a container that needs unloading this month and it would be so much easier with a fork lift rather than half a dozen Thai helpers throwing the stock all over the place.
The stock is all mixed on pallets and there are approx 20 pallets so it could even be done in a couple of hours.

Was it the partner who informed op half is hers if they were to split?
No a friend told me
-
To clear a few things up.
She is not a shareholder and there is no sign of us splitting up, as yet. I just wanted to cover my back in the worse case scenario.
Forewarned is forearmed and all that.

If you and your Thai partner have lived together for more than 2 years is your partner entitled to anything should you split up ?
My house was purchased in a company name years before I met my my partner and i was alarmed the other day when i was told that she would be entitled to half if we were to split.
is this the case ?

A friend of mine is having an extension built to his house and part of the work consists of a bedroom on the front which will incorporate an en suite toilet that will also be at the front of the house
A neighbour of his has told him that Thai's see this is bad luck and he will not be able to sell his home on to a Thai due to this superstition.
Any one (or your partners) heard of this or is it bull****

Khao noi sports bar is very good. Comes with mushy peas and homemade chips if preferred and they also do battered sausage and chips as well.

Are you the same Stuart Levy that is in the link below?
I suppose this was a totally unprovoked attack too.
Seems to me that you are just a drunken lout that finds trouble where ever you go.
You should learn a bit of respect for the country you are a guest in, it is people like you that give British expats and holiday makers a bad name.
While I do not condone the attack on you, you are obviously not the total innocent you would have us believe.
We can only hope they knocked some sense into you this time, although I very much doubt it.
At 58 year old, you are most probably a Father and possibly a Grandparent, how proud they must be.

Question about "1st Class Visa Runs"
in Pattaya
Posted
As i said above i think that you have got your wires crossed. I have done both trips and the Cambodian run as states on the website is on a 6 seater luxury mini bus with the latest movies, a free breakfast on arrival at the QV followed by a free meal on your return and is a completely different service to the Lao run.
