  1. Hi Everyone!

I’m organizing a series of workshops around Thailand with master Alvaro Romano about his Ginastica Natural.

Ginastica Natural is a training method developed by Alvaro Romano initially for his own BJJ sport career.

"A world-fitness leader and a specialist in Health and Quality of life, he implements Ginastica Natural as a revolutionary physical-fitness and health improvement around the world, through hundreds of seminars, workshops and instructor trainings. Ginastica Natural has been introduced in 27 countries so far".

Alvaro Romano is a Jiu-Jitsu black belt under legendary Master Rolls Gracie, Carlos Gracie Junior and Rickson Gracie.
You can check more info on his website http://www.ginasticanatural.com/origin/ and search around the countless videos on youtube.

Willing to have the experience of Alvaro Romano in Thailand, I’m scouting different martial arts, MMA and BJJ schools to find a good location and to spread the information to who might be interested, hoping to find people who wants to be active part of this project.

After an exchange of emails with Alvaro Romano we understand that we’ll need 4-5 seminars around Thailand to cover his budget and he is looking forward to bring his Ginastica Natural to Thailand.

Instructors courses will be also available, however the first target is to gather students to attend workshops and to find proper locations.

I’m also pushing these events on my website (Martial Arts Thailand) and on my social networks.

Feel free to contact me so we can have a chat. I live in Bangkok so I can pass by your place if needed.

  2. I don't think this give anyone a reason to be not polite.

Shaking the head and refusing with bad manner is a habit of many taxi drivers. Especially if it's raining and you have been looking for a taxi for the last hour or so.

In 12 years living in Bangkok, very few times I've encountered drivers who politely refused because was too much traffic or they had to bring the car back. Much respect to those few guys.

All the others... well, it looks like they are typically baby screaming "you are bad too! ..I'm gonna tell mom! passifier.gif "

  3. Hi everyone!

I'm looking for any information about gyms, courses or seminars for Tacfit and Bodyflow here in Thailand.

Seems like there is nothing about this stuff around here, any suggestion?

Thanks and have an awesome day!

    Paolo

  4. hi everyone!

I'm running a website to gather all of these information about Martial Arts activities in Thailand.

The website registration and posting is free. You can find some dojo and instructors there but I hope to have more to share with you.

If you have a school or if you are a trainer fell free to contact me and I'll be happy to post your activity on the site.

[Mod edit: link to own website deleted. Feel free to post your activity here.]

  5. I realized this almost 7-8 years ago..

"If you ask and follow directions from thais, be prepared to be like a pinball ball during a professional game.. eventually, you'll get in to the hole, but mostly you'll get stuck on the top bumpers." wai2.gif

If I really have to, I ask the same directions every few minutes to different people and I make and average.

About giving them directions to reach you, well that's another story, it really depends on who you are talking to... crazy.gif
