Could be because in the morning you are hassled by the weight of expectations. From yourself and others. To many choices and decisions can make you lazy.
What to do to feel productive as well as have fun.
You noted you like being on a train. At night, or on a train, there's nothing much else to do but be and that can feel better. Excitement can come from freedom from expectations.
Something in this too, possibly burnout or stress or similar.
When home, I'm up at 6, get kid ready for school, back at 8:30 and straight to work, finish around 5, 7-9 football training for my son most nights too. Pretty stressful job, possible burnout in my case or just stress. Doctors always say depression and try to give anti depressants all the time without actually listening.

Me all over, hate mornings and waking, never feel fresh after a night's sleep but come the evenings, I feel totally fine ????????♂️ just a night time person I guess.
I put it down to the endless night time partying when I was in my teens and early twenties, up all night, sleep all day on the beach. Never been able to get out of that though despite no longer being out all night or even out for that matter.

Thanks for all the replies. Will go back to Asia to try understand why he can't play there and then try alternatives.
Many thanks again ????

Thanks for the replies. Asia hotel say no children and that he too young.
My son has played a lot but is more used to the shorter courses and hasn't yet mastered using the driver or similar clubs, hence why the shorter pitch n putt courses are better for him.

Hi all,
Does anyone know of any shorter pitch n putt type golf courses around Jomtien/Pattaya that also allow 14 year olds to play?
We tried the Asia Hotel one but they won't let my 14 year old play, even though he has played for a long time and is fairly good.
We did play a 9 hole course in Buri Ram which had full length holes but he is not quite ready for full size just yet.
Many thanks.

The Pig and Whistle is always good for breakfasts, price varies on size you want. They did rename it when but I can't remember what to, u think it was an Irish Bar name but it's not like an Irish Bar.
It's in Jomtien, just down from Thepprasit Road junction and Tops supermarket, on the other side of the road.

We stayed in a condo recently but we usually rent a house. It's our family (3 of us) and then her mum and dad come to stay with us, sometimes her neice. In a hotel we would need 2 or 3 rooms, in a condo (or house) we can all stay together and spend time together. Simple as that really. You also get more privacy.
Each to their own.

Someone here might be able to answer this, as I am visiting soon I am wondering whether to bring GBP and change to THB when there or, should I change to USD and then THB when I arrive?

I hold a few different ones but my main ones are: XRP, ADA (cardano) and TRX (Tron). I started 17 months ago and have made a lot on these 3 alone, i still have ADA trades open from last March which are over 9700% profit. Just a shame that when i started out i started off small but, the original £50 trade at 9700% profit is currently at £4677. I really wish i had more confidence in crypto when i started.
Cant wait for the SEC case againat XRP to be over, that will hopefully unleash that one and then looking forward to the FLR token.

We really wanted to come and visit family following a family bereavement a few months ago and thought we could live with 7 days in Phuket, the change to 14 days has now meant we will not be able to go and viait the family which is a real shame. Hope it changes by the 1st August which is when we both have a couple weeks off work.
Out of interest, can you still buy alcohol at the 7/11?

Hi,
Thanks for all the replies. I have had the original certificate legalised in the UK. I have now also had it translated and juat sent it off to the Thai embassy in London to get it certified by them. Do we still need it to be certified when we get to Bangkok? Another post i read said they had to but it seems a bit silly if its already certified by the London Thai embassy.

Hi,
I don't know if this is the right place to post?
My wife will be changing her ID and passport surname to our married name when we visit next. We have had the English marriage certificate translated, legalised and sent to the UK Thai embassy to be certified. Does anyone know what the process is when we get to Thailand, what do we need to do there?
Also, we booked the return flights in the current passport surname. As the new passport will have the new surname, will be still be allowed to use this ticket if we have both the old and new passport and copies of the marriage certificate? We fly with Thai.
Thanks,
Lee

Thanks for the replies. Think i will take a chance although will have my 6 year old with me along with my wife. The embassy emailed me again after i asked the question again and they said if i was not sure 'you will have to apply for a visa just in case' great help thanks Thai Embassy lol
-
I actually emailed the Thai embassy in the UK to ssk for clarification. I received a reply this morning, not answering the question but instead just stating a viss would be required for over 30 days in the country from entry. With that in mind i would require a visa for just over 1 hour. To make it worse, they do not do postal application any more and i would be required to attend in person, a 6 hour drive for me!

We travel to Thailand every year, last time was last August. Always go for 30 days, obviously miscalculated this one a bit.
And the flights are not changable.

August 28th will be day 30 so as long as you clear passport control before midnight you've nothing to worry about.
Even if you were the exit on August 29th you shouldn't be charged for the one day overstay as it's waived at BKK.
Yes will be clear of passport control on the 28th which as you say is day 30. Just wanted to make sure they were not that padantic that they would say the flight is in fact the 29th and a visa required for the few hours.
Thanks for the reply

Hi all,
I am due to fly on 29th July from UK and arrive in BKK on the 30th at 05:45.
We return to the UK on the 29th August departing BKK at 01:10.
I have just realised that if we include the 29th August then we will be there 31 days. As we will be going through immigration etc on the 28th August, late in the day, and making it 30 days, will i need to get a 60 day tourist visa?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Does anyone know whats really happening? Is there any danger for UK flights?
I booked my trip yesterday as their price had dropped over the last week, been monitoring for 4 weeks, and Eva had stayed the same.
Now a day later i hear this and am panicking quite a bit and getting a bit worried
-
And tell them to put the first stamp on the first page not in the middle of the passport.
does it matter what page they stamp?
-
Immigration on departure would only need to see the new passport. She could show the old passport if they questioned the name on the boarding pass.
Thanks, i suppose my main concern was that we got a real jobsworth on immigration or checkin who wouldnt let us through as the ticket didnt the new passport and the old was was stamped cancelled. Wasn't sure if they would use common sence or give us any leeway over the matter. I am probably worrying myself over nothing hopefully
-
What makes you conclude that? Passport control would not accept it, but check in most likely would. I would recommend to check with the airline in advance, even if they're not being helpful. If it is stamped as cancelled and the new passport is in our married surname, check-in and passport control in BKK would not accept that passport at all and would only accept the new one.
With the surname being different to the flight ticket would we need another ticket? Or would they show a bit of lee way if we have tthe old, new passport and marriage certificates in Eng and Thai, along with Thai ID card and English ID card?
i assumed this would be the case as the passport would have been stamped 'cancelled'? How well d theycheck te passports at check in? If its only a look at the photo and names tthen hopefully it would be ok and the new passport can be used on immigration.
This as also got me thinking, dont Thais also have to do the arrival slip the same as farangs? I seem to remember the last time we left BKK we were held up as the arrival departure slip was missing from my wifes passport

Sorry i misread the last couple replies. Thanks for them, when the old passport is returned do they cut the corner or anything so people know its cancelled?

We have recently returned and upgraded to business. We went LGW to BKK via DXB. We upgraded the LGW DXB leg when checking in online via a promotion offer (couldn't upgrade any other way as tickets were booked via 3rd party company) for 3 of us it was £1300. Great experience, could not fault it at all.
On our return we upgraded the BKK DXB leg of the flight, it costs us £2300 for the 3 of us on a shorter flight than the one we upgraded previously. On this occasion, although good, it was not as good an experience as the first time. The A380 this time was older, not as comfy, the lay flat bed did not lay flat completely as the previous one did.
So, the airport upgrade cost us more, for the shorter flight and was not as good an experience as our first upgrade.
