I was in Songkhla extending my non-O one year visa and they did not turn me away although previous Non-O visa was issued in Chiang Mai and with my local address is in Chiang Mai. As long as they renew the non-o visa extension..it is legit and legal.

To verify applying of one year visa extension... I have asked the immigration personnel and they say I can apply the extension from anyway in Thailand. Need not go back to our local office.

Immigration bureau of Thailand announces fake visa been exposed. They have a sample genuine visa uploaded for those to verify against but the sample is from Chiang Mai Immigration. May I asked if any reader here can upload one year extension Genuine Visa issued by Phra Nakhon Si Autthaya immigration so that we can verify the authencity of it. I have my Visa done by an agent. The genuine sample shown is from Chiang Mai Immigration. Does anyone have a genuine sample from Phra Nakon Si Ayutthaya immigration ? Need to verify if mine is genuine. Is agent Express Visa in Pattaya trustworthy ? Can an agent fake immigration receipt. It is printed from computer.

This criteria is for retirement to thailand only. Age above 50 and 800k in bank.

Whay can't the immigration says "not to withdraw until the 1 year visa is stamp" and we do not have to withdraw the money. Why says money must be deposited consecutively for 2 months as stipulated by immigration.

Yes, I have already got the "visa under consideration" stamp. With that, it allows me to use the money ?I find it weird because, the money has been sitting in the account for 2 months. And now it will take another 2 months to wait for results. Least to say, we are putting the money in the bank for 4 months i.e. if we cannot use the money.

Applying for Non-O visa requires Baht 400,000 deposited in local bank. The money has to stay in the bank for 2 months. After 2 months you need to submit evidents and documentations to immigration in order to apply for Non-O visa. After submitting all documents verified by the immigration officer paying a fees of Baht 1,900 I was asked to go back. After 2 weeks, immigration officers visit at my house asking for witness to answers few questions. It took the officers less then an hour to complete the process and that is about all. We wait for result to be announce on the given date dated by the immigration officer. I have 1 questions if any of you can help me.

Q. After completing all of the above mentioned procedure, can I start using the money deposited or do I have to wait till the outcome of the visa status.
