  1. I use this to send large files, same as others, free service for smaller uploads (2GB) and more if you pay.

You upload to the site and send a link to whoever needs to look at it.

    https://www.dropbox.com/

You can also send large files through Skype for free, We use it as work to send data back to the head office.

Open your contact on the Skype homepage, click on the + sign next to the call mobile button and select send files

    This is good one.

  2. Normally you'll get sms to let you know the time you number will be upgraded and what you should do after number upgraded, far as I know while your no. is being upgraded all service is not going to work for a couple hrs, after a while your phone will show no service. And there you hav to select network manually to be 52003. (I have iPhone5).

and plus AIS will launch 3G 2.1GHz on 7th May. http://newsite.adslthailand.com/news/ais-official-launch-3g-2100-mhz/ and i think u ask more details at [email protected]

  3. Did you find out what cost your 200Baht? Like @lomatopo said if you data plan is done 1baht/min will be applied until its all 200 gone. Check remaining data usage you can dial *139#. And said that you received some calls from Europes and did you make a call back as well? cos that could burn out credits super fast too, check International call rates > http://www.ain.co.th/en/005_country_rate.html

Plus, SMS to international number from One2call SIM is 9.63Baht/sms. and Truemove is kinda the same > http://www.truemove.com/en/ir-intersms-coverage.htm

    Hope this helpful. :D

  4. I think there are some companies which provide this service, maybe ask a Thai friend to dig through some Thai forums for options?

    http://thaiprepaidcard.com/

You could also enable international roaming, and take a few scratch cards with you and top up from anywhere in the world, assuming you have GSM service and an AIS/One-2-Call roaming partner.

There may also be some options from within the AIS/One-2-Call eService's application?

This is very helpful, many thanks.
