As a thai teacher told my wife when she went up to complain " i have more important things than you" then he went to lunch, it shows how a little power corrupts and that was thai to thai so how are the kids treated, i feel more teacher training let alone english half the kids in my village cant read or write thai.

Question for all why did the family need to check the cctv system in the building i thought the police would have checked that first and he failed to meet the bail money why bail him, my the child now rest in peace and i hope he suffers every day in jail but i doubt that will happen

on recommendation from the Family we had a guy put in wooden windows (thai style house in village) this guy made Leggo look good what a utter Arse, had to redo 26 windows but then again my fault as listened to the wife. some people we have hired are great some utter dross, but then again same as the uk you get good builders and cowboy outfits. lesson well sunk in

I dont know about it being a 3ed world country as some of the 3 world places i have seen make it look good, but everyplace has it drawbacks UK USA ect, but i wish the uk would have the same immigration policies as thailand then we would not be turning into the 3ed world country.

i agree the system has improved but i think a lot had to do early on with the office just opening and the problems in the UK regarding passports at the time, i was very impressed as it took just 12 day to get a renewal but the office had found its feet by then and the home office had replaced the FCO ref passports, one question why is it i had to go from the trendy office to the British Embassy to get a letter to say my passport No had changed as this was require by Thai Immigration office , when this could be placed in the new passport when you get it from trendy as some other countries include it automatically? maybe our Ambassador at the Embassy could look into this.

maybe should have a few laminated cards in other languages to show people the problems but then it goes down to education and the fact that for years people have been allowed to mistreat holidaymakers with scams and threats of violence and the Police have stood by and done nothing about it as for the Jet skis it is know far and wide about that scam yet still people hire them if you dont hire them it will dry up and go away ( but some other scam will replace it) till the law is seen to be done and fair on both sides of the line

I dont think it has changed they have just changed there MO for collection, now called donations in envelopes for the temples same route new cover, until real jail time and assets taken nothing will change. Everyone knows how a person on 30,000 bht a month can affored a 4 million bht house

Good News from putting paper in at trendy office to return of passport to trendy 12 days,17 nov papers in 28 nov passport ready for collection.
seem most of the problems are sorted now but if only trendy issued the letter for a new passport there instead of having to trail round to the UK embassy to get on but all in all cant complain.
