Earlier year it was possible to get an extension with a certificate from the consulate / embassy.
The question is, does it still apply to the countries that issue certificates? Can I still use a certificate from the Swedish Consulate that my pension is above the 800,000 baht limit to get a retired extension instead of 800,000 at the bank?
Thank you

The yellow tambien baan is no longer accepted by Department of Land and Transport (DLT).
Today I wanted to extend my driving license(DL) at DLT in Pattaya
and had the yellow house book with me as proof of residence, it was not accepted.
They only accepted a Certificate of Residence (CR) from imigration,
no tambien baan no thai ID-card not the old DL only the CR from imigration.I went down to Jomtien and handed in my passport, 3 photos and 600 baht,
they asked me for prove of Residence, I showed my old driving license (which will soon expire)as proof and it was accepted.
So DLT demands CR from imigration to give you a new DL and
imigration demands a DL to give you a CR to show to DLT as proof.- 4

I got my ID card last week, went very smoothly.
Took the Yellow house book to the Nongprue municipality that issued it, so they could confirmed the validity.Other documents needed was:
Passport with the extension of visas, driver's licenses.
Made copies of all documents.
Brought the confirmation and the rest of the documents
to the Ampur of Banglamung and got the ID card, cost 100 baht.- 2

So I didn't file one today or March 2016?
yes they accept it incorrectly like so much else, but it should be TM28.

Yes Jedsada3 is right, TM30 is for the hotel, landlord or owner of the property where you live and TM28 is for alien who stays in Thailand

Will i get a fine if i hand in TM30 tomorrow?
-
What is your advise?
Is it best to hand in TM30 or take a chance and do nothing.

My wife heard that the cost of transferring a house will be reduced temporarily. For example, now it costs 2% if owned the house for at least 5 years. Is there anyone here on TV who have heard or know anything about this?I can not find any info about this on the Internet

I'm sorry if I have been unclear.
My extension is valid until 1/9-2016 but I'm going back to Sweden in a couple of months and will stay until end of October 2016.
What can I do?
Get a O-Visa at the ambassy in Sweden and apply for a 1 year extension based on retirement once I'm back in Thailand?
Is that possible?
I Thank you all, for trying to understand and answering my questions.

I have an extension to stay in Thailand based on retirement a one year A-O valid to 1 September.I am now planning to go to Sweden and not come back until the middle of October.Question: What is my best options? To apply for a new AO in Sweden is far too complicated. Can I apply for a "Non-Immigrant Visa category" O "(Over 50years old and Retired)" visa at the Thai Embassy in Sweden, and then chang it to one year A-O based on retirement? Can I do it on Imigration in Jomtien? What documents are required?I have 30 year lease on my house, and my name in the yellow house book. Thanks for advisePS: I was advised by the foreign helper in Jomtien not to make any changes because it would be very difficult to regain the A-O extension one year based on retirement.

Ok, thank you Ubonjoe

Some people can't afford insurance. 3,000 baht a month is huge for some people.
What a lovely hospital. Putting health before money.
Once again if I knew where to donate I would put in a bit.
Where can he find an insurance policy for 3000 baht a month?
If it is possible to buy insurance at all at his age, it will probably cost 5,000 baht per month minimum.

Just under 50k a month and single I would rent somewhere in the 10k range that has a kitchen so you can do a lot of home cooking. You will have lots of time on your hands and I would advise for your own health to take a pass on the street food and instead go to the local market gets lots of produce and cook for yourself. You don't want to be retired and lying on a bed in some shitty 4k/ month room, get something decent.
Maybe get a life might be a starting point.
This sounds more like an ending point.
That's exactly what he's trying to do, get a life here in Thailand and he can do it very well on his 48,000 baht / month.

If you can't afford to put 800k in the bank to get a proper visa then I would be looking at Cambodia. Doing visa runs will get old and is dangerous.
There is no requirement to have money in the bank to get a visa for retirees. Instead, you can show that you have a monthly income equal to 800,000 baht per year.I just go to my consulate and get a certificate on my pension from Sweden and I get my extension of one year. -
Age & Insurance. I was 64 when I bought my CBR 250 and had no problem with 1st Class insurance. If I remember right, I paid a little more, but nothing outrageous.
What is your insurance? You say first class but it is not possible to buy one for your motorcycle only for cars. It would be interesting to know what kind of insurance you have and in what company.

I surgically removed my prostate in 2009 with keyhole surgery. It has worked very well and I have no problems with urination or leakage. Now I go and make the PSA test at Banglamung Government hospital,I also test my thyroid levels simultaneously. It takes about 2 days to get the answer when I will meet the doctor, the entire cost is 950 baht.

How can you call a 5 year visa for permanent residency? I do not know if I should laugh or cry.
-
Why would not they call you Khon kheak? You are black and thai have no idea what country you come from so you will Kheak. You call us Europeans for farangs, why? What do you want the Thais to call you? Blacky, brownie, darky? They do it because they do not know what country you are from, only that you are black.Same goes for us Caucasians they do not know wich country so we are farangs.
