If the tickets were purchased after 1st Feb, no need. If before, yes they'll have to pay.

the ticket i bought to travel from sin-bkk-sin on TIGER AIRWAYS dint include the tac 700 baht..this ticket i purchase after feb 1...

  2. sometime i wonder why cant they have one company or 1 bus to pattaya and suvanamboon with 30 minute interval/schedule instead so many buses with unfriendly time table.

sorry to ask again,no 389 -buy the ticket and take at which bay?

9905-come from bangkok already half full or 3/4 full, what the point coming to airport.and if i am the one who take the bus 9905 from bangkok, wont i fed up when the bus go for a detour, instead straight to pattaya?

999-this bus i saw and i thought that time this bus is 389.

  3. when i reach Thailand on 11 Oct,took a airpot shuttle white colour to Transportation Center, want to take a bus to Pattaya, and the schedule is totally wrong seen at here/website as compare to the schedule on the counter selling ticket.

other than that,i also saw a bus white and blue colour with passenger from bangkok with Bangkok-Pattaya(not sure which terminal) at the transportation CeNter to pick up passenger, and i ask the driver,he said full.but what i saw he busy collecting fee from other farang passenger 106 baht,to board the bus.

there also a yellow colour bus with 999 number to go to pattaya.the schedule is morning,1 pm and 5 pm.I didnt take the bus because i there at 3 pm.

So i took a bus number 552 to On Nut BTS,took around 30 minute.and go to Ekamai.

  4. Bus - Pattaya to Suvarnabhumi Airport and Return as at 12th Oct 2006.

Here is the latest information on the above bus services. I went to Pattaya Northern Bus Station on Pattaya Nua today and spoke with the office of Bell Travel Services Co Ltd who are running this service under license from the Government.

The office is in the Bus Station at the top by Bus Park on the right in a separate building. Busses are new blue and white Air-Con coaches which look very comfortable. There is also an air-con waiting room. Email: [email protected]

  5. jing: thanks for link w/ times.

nimzo: yes, there is rumoured to be a stop/station outside on one of the access roads from th eairport. that said, it would appear this is another alternative to the 9/11/1500 buses: #9905 >> Suvarnabhumi airport - Ban Bueng - Laem Chabang - Bang Lamung - Pattaya

hopefully the 9905 will run later and fill in the gaps to the airport.

i agree w/ boxer at this point though, until we know more about that elusive stop outside - best to go to transport center.

CAN ANYONE ANSWER: the table appears to show the only return bus @ 9am. can this be correct????

    i miss don muang already....

    thx h5n1.. :D I miss Dong Muang too :o

  6. another question,

if i want to take bus to pattaya(those bus from ekamai with blue, white, orange colour and stop along the way to pick up passenger up to their destination, etc laem chabang, sri racha, trat)

which road i should go? Bangkok-Chonburi NEw Highway or Bang Na-Trat Highway? or any other easier monument or building along the road that i can tell the taxi driver to bring me to.

    thanks :o

  7. yes,is important to check the bill before paying.i and my gf have this 150 baht++ lunch, and early on we do a mental calculation how much it will be when need to pay the bill.and when the bill come,it is extra 100 baht .and my gf ask them why so much, and calculate for the waiters.and as usual they show a 'Oh,a mistake'.....######... :o

  8. Thailand likely to be aircraft maintenance centre of Asia

“Thailand has the potential to provide more maintenance services than Singapore, but we don’t have a proper centre. Moreover, many people working in Singapore’s aircraft maintenance industry were trained in Thailand,” said Boonritr Saovapruk, CATC governor.

    --TNA 2006-09-26

wow..i never know that many people were trained inThailand..What a big Joke... :o

  9. Seems I can help out here.

I pass this airport nearly everyday.

Well, just wait in the bus station which at the opposite side of the airport. The road is called "BangNa-Trad". Wait in the station until you see a blue/white bus with "Pattaya" on the bus.

This bus goes to Pattaya. And it is very often. Not expensive also.

    Hope it helps.

i think should be extra colour of orange strip right??i take before a bus from ekamai with orange, white andb blue colour bus,and the bus is pass by pattaya,so i just alight at bangkok pattaya hospital there, and the bus continue with their journey.

  10. Dose anyone know when the last bus leaves Mochit to Pattaya? Oe even better is there an updated schedule posted antwhere on the net?

    Thanks

the last bus should be 8 pm time..correct me if i am wrong..thanks

  11. The way it reads it would appear to effect you but I suspect changes will be made very quickly to exempt ASIAN member countries or some such provision made.

as i not doing visa run,not stay 30/90 day thing...

i only enter thailand as tourist and at the most each trip only last 5 day..

somewhere i read, they going to restrict u to 3 entry in 90 day?or total stay should not exceed 90 day in 3 month time..

  12. the new airport is closer to pattaya, but from new airport is there any bus other than taxi to go pattaya??

if from new airport to go to mo chit or ekamai,it will be taking long hour ...
