Yup you aure can, buying the phone in Aus is no different than buying it in Thailand, If you buy in Thailand it will be unlocked and you wont have to hassles of getting it unlocked. If you buy in Thailand just buy from the company shop ie. Samsung shop, Iphone shop in any major Plaza, I have a Samsung Note 2 with Thai sim, Internet package approx 500thb per month, and Iphone 4s with telstra sim roaming for incoming work calls etc. Just make sure if you have you Aus Sim card on here in Thailand and especially if it is post paid from Aus to TURN OFF data roaming as you will get hit with a huge suprise. Telstra reciving texts are free when roaming, incoming and out going calls and texts are not.

In your case I would buy the phone in either Aus or Thailand as the price is pretty much the same, probably abit cheaper in Thailand, but I would use a PREPAID SIM for the Aus number, you can recharge both sims online both aus and thai, If you have a Thai bank account you can recharge through that or your bank can issue you with a 3 digit number you can enter to recharge also, which I find the easiest. 7/11 also you can recharge thai sim.

Duly noted although only want to make sure they are genuine parts replaced, I have seen friends watches of mine fixed and replaced with junk and they are constantly readjusting the time each day on an ex $1000+ phone, not for me TIT.

After a Watch repairer that will replace with genuine parts, not junk, prefferably a Citizen Watch Shop, Its a Brand New Genuine Citizen that was damaged in an accident and possibly will go in the rubbish but worth a try fixing it as it was quiet expensive.

Yeah thanks bytebuster, I currently have an ED Visa with one of the schools in Pattaya atm, I attended for a few months but since I moved out of town "south" and the school is in north Pattaya it conflicted with work. Not being flexible etc. etc. I basically self study from books and all I really need is a Private Teacher with limited experience just to converse with. 1-2 hours per week would suit me I just would like to find a school closer to home that allows afternoon lessons which my school does not. I might look into Jomtien Lanuage School or get the girl to have a hunt around for me.

of the larger schools in Pattaya and Jomtien, although I do not nead a visa combo I just want a private one close to Chayapruk or Jomtien for flexibility reasons.

Thai so far is limited but im really just at basic conversation level.

IMHO Although 2011 models seem to be fairly discounted right on One2Car...... 450,000bht as to 600,000 current model, as I will be putting this car in my name not a Thai, correct me if I am wrong but the tax rebate scheme is approx 100,000bht if bought as a Thai Brand new first car, but you have to be a Thai Citizen yeah? so there is a possibility some of these models have been granted the rebate after 1 year and then on sold them hence the 150,000bht discount between models etc.

Do you agree?

I have just heard alot of Thais taking advantage of the new tax rebate on purchasing a first new car which has occured and have heard alot about the repossesions taking place upon the folks buying the cars due to not being able to make the repayments.

Or can does anyone know of any Honda Cities or similar sedans for sale?

And I know this should be in the Auto topics but I find in the general threads I seem to get more info back.

Two younger brothers like me and look up to me, Grandma likes me alot, GF's mother hates me probably because I never coughed for a wedding a month after I met the GF. Suits me great as Mother pays for all GF's expenses, UNI, allowance, Car, and buys her Gucci handbags on her overseas travels @ $800 AUD a piece. It's a great relationship.

Great help Pal I had been eyeing that subscription off for a while now and after trying to get the managers of the Pattaya Farland Pubs out of bed in time to flick the switch for the early games now I gave up lol, I subscribed today. hoping to get the Port Carlton game at 10:10 Thai time, do you mind me asking what download rate you have and operating system etc. I just want to make sure I have the capacity to get at at least medium defintion, they say min reqs are 3mbps, I have 8g ram quad core Intel I7 Processor, but only 7mbps download, im hoping its enough what do you think?
