  1. Try Banglumpoo. There are plenty travel agents around, so its easy to compare prices.

I just booked a flight to europe on the 18 of dez, its 24,000 and something Baht inclusive all taxes (two ways).

One way starts from about 10,000 Baht with "crap airlines", more for "better" airlines.

  2. I find most of the aircons too cold. I only them myself when I was new here. Now I always stay without aircon.

Just fan, not pointing directly towards me as mentioned before.

Half naked and only a thin thaisilk sheed to cover myself.

It takes a couple of month to get used to the climate, but after that you feel really good, it's a scarry thought going back to europe especially during the winter.

If you get used to using aircon all the time from the beginning

on, you might get never used to the climate at all.

I know some people living a "sureal" aircon live. Going to work in an ac car, then working in an ac office , going back in this ac car to be in their ac home for the rest of the day.

I think the over use of ac, I mean running these units at a temperature much colder than outside will cause health problems in the future, which most people are probably not aware od yet, as the overall use of ac is just a few years old.

  3. I've been using MSN Messenger and ICQ to communicate with friends and family back home for about a year now without any problems. However, I wasn't able to connect to MSN M. for over a week now. A friend back home had the same problem but its ok now. I still can't connect to that service.

Anybody using MSN Messenger as well?

  4. Question: What you call an Mp3 player, is that the same thing as a "minidisaplayer" ?

I know minidisc supports Mp3 too, but are players for playing Mp3 only? What medium do they use for storing the data?

And how different is the price?

    Thanks for your answers!

    :o
