Can't. I live way up in the Rocky mountains and use a small town pharmacy/liquor store. They are closed and I can not get the script transferred before I leave. https://www.facebook.com/RockyMountainPharmacy?rf=111576345564741 Thank you for trying to help me though.

My flight leaves for Thailand in 10 hours. I am already at a Denver airport hotel. I forgot my Metformin (diabetic pills) and I live too far from Denver (Estes Park) to go back and get some.
Does anyone know if metformin is sold in Pattaya and if so, will this political mess hamper me being able to get some? Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place.

I am an American woman.Married to a Thai man.
We had a Thai common marriage in 1973 when we were 19 years old.
Lost each other when I had to leave Thailand in 75. My mom returned all his mail he was sending to me. I did NOT know she did that---and there were no cells or internet back then. I could not find him, nor him me. After about 4 years we both went on with life thinking the other lost feelings.
He found me again after almost 4 decades. (Thanks facebook!!)
We remarried.
Thai marriage 9-12-12 in Bangkok.
Registered the marriage in America on 12-12-12.
Applied for his visa September-2012.
He came to USA 3 months ago. (Took 11 months to get his visa)
Truly, the love of my life.

I lived there 39 years ago and Pattaya was very beautiful back then. Peaceful, beautiful, clean. No malls, no McDonalds, no 7-11's, no congested beach, hardly any cars--mainly taxi's and baht buses---and if ladyboys were there back then, I sure never saw or knew of any. The prostitutes were there--but they sure didn't make it so obvious like they do these days.
Just clear aqua pristine water, beautiful land, and the little Thai street restaurant shops.
I could take a samlor all over town for 15 cents, eat for 25 cents a meal--50 cents if I got papaya salad or something more elaborate.
I miss the old Thailand. It was so very different back in the early 70's.
Does anyone remember the Spider Band from way back in the early 70's? Maybe some here were not even born yet :=)

I think the OP is an amazingly talented writer with a "glass half FULL attitude which is refreshing and most welcome after reading some of the "glass half EMPTY" posts on here. I like positive, upbeat people and the OP seems to be. I wish I could meet people like the OP when I am at my Thai house, which is in Pattaya.(Don't get there very often)
I have never been to the beach or any bars there and I guess I am blind to the really bad things in Pattaya. Maybe because I am always in stores shopping

I do not know if this is allowed on the forum but I am willing to pay any person a few thousand dollars finders fee if you can find me land (at least 4 rai) to build a house on-----or an existing house on at least 4 rai---and Ibuy it.
Prefer Thai style but will consider any. Must be below 10,000,000 baht for existing house/rai. Maybe that is not possible in Pattaya area??? I go back to the states Jan 21 so if you know of something, please let me know asap. I am currently in Pattaya.
I am so tired of the fly by night so called realtors that make me drive 7 hours to look at a house that is a dump and not at all what the photo's showed. Doesn't Pattaya have a reputable USA type real estate company?
My apology if this type post is unacceptable on this forum. I just need help and do not know where to go to get any.
