The lower fine is only if you stay locked up until you make a court appearance.

The only people that end up in IDC are those caught with an overstay. And many of those are facing other criminal charges.

If you have the money to pay the fine voluntarily you will not be locked up.

From reports I have read about what an embassy suggested was wrong.

But there is one thing called voluntarily deportation, Then like I wrote in the outher post you will spend one day at IDC ( not being look up ). Many embassys including swedish and brittish offer this "fast track" deportation to pepole with long overstays, lost passport and little money. At least they did back in 2011.

Not correct. If you have the 20,000 baht and 1900 baht to pay for a 7 day extension appication they will still do it.

Ok, as I said not sure. I just told the way that I had to do and that outher guys in the same situation had to do.

Why not contact embassy? They can give advice on the best way to go about things when have overstay, maybe different from conutry to country. Anyway if you do the IDC thing you pay only about 13,000 baht for overstay, but if you can still do it in airport for 20,000 baht maybe thats the best option.

I think if you have no entry stamp in your passport you will have to sort that out before getting to airport.

Contact your embassy the will give you corretc information.

I can be so that your "friend" have to spend one day at IDC to get voulentary deported, in that case he will go there in the morning and will be taken to court and then back to IDC and spend some time in the "wating area" NOT locked up and the he will be escorted to the airport and handed over to airport police that will makesure he gets on the plane. There will be NO blacklist or problem returning to thailand.

Before, some years agon when you had long overstay and lost passport you could just go to immigration in bangkok to get a new entry stamp in your new passport as long that you showed the that you had confirmd ticket to leave the country the same day. But Now I think you have to go trough IDC, but not sure, maybe there some outher way.

IPM is about 2000 baht to instal and no montly fees, have about 3-4 english movie channels, 3 english speaking news and a few more chanels that can show some intresting programs sometimes all and all its over 100 channels but mostly thai. anyway IPM is alot better then PSI and Sunbox. GMM a dont know about so have no opinion.

When I stay in the djungel I have True Visions Gold Pack witch I think is ok value for money.

When I stay Pattaya I think that Sophon Cable Is really good for only 200 baht montly english movies, BBC and Fox news, Astro supersport, True sports 7, BIO, CI etc

I know its illigal to posses diazepam, xanax and so on without prescription from doctor but I have been to hospital and the doctor there would only give me 5*5mg Diazepam witch lasted me 1 day so I would need to find some pharmacy that still offers this for sale. I have been walking around and I found one place that would sell me 10*5mg Diazepam just because I hade the paper that I´ve just had got some from hospital but she wont sell me anymore without a prescription. and also I want the 10mg not 5mg. but 5mg will do if theres nothing else.
