F-150 is available with steering on the left only while vehicles in Thailand are on the right. I think this is the biggest reason why Ford would not bring it here even if it were sold in Philippines. Additionally it would cost a lot of money here due to high import tarrif on CBUs.http://ph.priceprice.com/Ford-F-150-F-Series-9333/
if they don t sell them in Phil why do they list the price in Phil pesos
it`s becoming clear that some posters need to stop drinking and go to sleep

I bought a diesel about a month ago and loving it too. Test drove both gasoline and diesel and felt that both are good with gasoline being eager to rev, diesel with plenty of torque. Finally I paid premium for diesel just because I have never had a car with diesel and loved the feeling of torque.

For 1,060,000 baht I bought a Mazda CX3. I drove the Honda HRV and also a couple of bigger SUVs.
I highly recommend the CX3, looks great, handles really well and get over 500km for 1000 baht.
Did you get a diesel for 1.06 million?

TOEIC250 is a joke. If you have some sort of academic English study, one can get 700 or above without preparing for exam. Yet another amazing Thailand.

Get yourself a Ford. Man, they are so good. Mechanics hate them - never in the garage for repairs. Anyone who says Fords are frauds are buckets of
masquerading as a motor vehicle is clueless. And the design -so attractive.
Forget the Honda. They only were only any good at making motor bikes anyway. Noisy, so bad, With the wife whinging and the radio going off - just noisy as hell. Don't start me on the build quality of a Ford compared to a Honda. The Japs don't know. USA quality - awesome.
Yeah, right. -
This time the suspect was Japanese mafia amd Thai police chased him for arrest. If it were Thai mafia, they will just take money and do nothing.

Let's look at the flip side of the coin for a moment. Japanese companies build factories in third world countries for one reason and one reason only - cheap labor to enhance their profit margins. Why do you think Apple outsources the manufacture of its phones to China - Foxconn is a major producer. (Workers at Foxconn often work 14 or 18 hour shifts standing all day!)
Once built, the Japanese owners will use will hire their workers through a 'contractor' to prevent any hint of union organization. The contracts for workers under such arrangements are for one year and renewable if you are judged to be a 'good' employee. The companies, for the vast majority of cases, do little to foster good employment relations with solid job security and good pay and benefits. Most workers in developing nations suffer under precarious work relationships.
As the old saying goes - "You get what you pay for!"
Unless and until major foreign corporations deal with its workforce from a standpoint of dignity and respect (Japanese and Koreans being some of the worst), they will always moan and groan about the quality of their workers. Man up! Give the workers job security and a good future for their family!
So are you saying that GM and Ford here has better workers than Honda? I know as a fact that it is not true but other way around. Also all companies in automotive industry use outsource service in order to accomodate for volume fractuation. In this case, Thais are not affected so much because most of the workers hired by outsource are workers from neighboring countries.

I was at Sathorn Square all day today where Belgium Embassy is located. I saw a lot of police there but not doing anything. Just hanging around in air conditioned lobby chatting alk day long. So much for maximum security.

I agree with great value but not with excellent fuel economy, good power nor great handling. I used brand new H-1 three years ago for a few days as it was a spare company car when my car was at service but did not like it at all. Far inferior to Japanese competition in almost all aspects except for value. Crappy handling, noisy & underpowered engine and sub standard interior appointment. Interior was making squeaking noise all the time. Also ride was very uncomfortable.Great value. Service and parts are cheap however not so many locations around Thailand. Good power and great handling. No issues with underground parking. Excellent fuel economy. Quality interior. Would highly recommend especially if you have dealership close by for service and warrentee..

What a "Thai centered" view and commentary! Full blossom of Thainess in action! Please keep that only in Thailand.
Where law is strictly enforced, it really does not matter if you forget nor the gun is legit somewhere else. I really do hope that this guy spends significant amount of time in Japanese jail.
You never know he may like it as Japanese jail is much better than one in Thailand.

Said it before, saying it again. There aren't more dangerous drivers in Thailand than in other countries, there are more dangerous drivers that are allowed to drive.
So doesn't it mean that there are more dangerous drivers on the road driving than other countries?

I am guessing but don't most, if not all, the hiso and affluent families send their sprogs to Australia, England or USA to get educated at uni level and the ones in the family that aren't to smart go to local uni and become actors on TV.....yes?
And most of Hi-So siblings are not sharp and they go to unaccredited western colleges you can literally purchase degree. Like purchasing driver's license in Thailand.

Thank you all. I think I have a good understanding of what may be options to choose from. Thanks again.

I am getting a new job that comes with a company car dedicated for me. The company will buy/lease a car for me and wondering which car I should request. Conditions are below:
1. Has to be Japanese car (customer related)
2. 50/50 I drive/driver drive for me
3. Less than 2.5 mil
4. Prefer SUV type for better view but not mandatory
5. Prefer car with power and comfort ride
Appreciate suggestions.

Whether like it or not, law is law and they need to respect it. Also I guess nobody forces them to come to Thailand and work illegally. It is 100% their choice and responsibility. If somebody teaches Chinese in the US without proper visa, do you think the US immigration would just let you go?
Give me a break.
Bad move.
They were not committing a crime, they were offering a service that Thais can't offer.
They were taking nobody's job.
Just another excuse to say how bad these foreigners are..................
I know, you can't work without a WP, but at this instance they were harming nobody.

Prayuth Thainese does not mean that Thais should be looked down by Farang like Japanese.
There are pride in every Thais.
If Japs make Thai loose their jobs, they have tthe right to stand up and fight for his/her freedom.
Viva le Siam.
Are you Thai? You definitely sound like one of those proudly presenting Thai .

This is why we need to pass the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) ASAP, allowing McDonald's and Cargill to sue the Japanese government for making them look bad and hurting their profits. Such news stories that attempt to tarnish the reputations of our sacred multinational corporations must not be tolerated.
Yeah, right

If someone could enlighten me with Thai wisdom.
I have been to several shopping malls in Bangkok and seen farang selling cosmetics. How do they get work permit? If they don't, it is quiet obvious and police would catch them but seem so confident.
Is there something I should know?

Evenstevens just reading your post the people working here with wrong visa are parasites? If they were getting something for free and giving back nothing in return they could be described as parasites. If you are working you are not a parasite. Your post doesn't make sense.
Still doesn't make it legal. May not be parasite but quite possibly be criminal.

Does COVID-19 origin really matter?

Just an interesting fact to share.
One of my friends was on business trip to Guangzhou in November 2019 for about a week or so.
After returning to his home country he fell sick and was hospitalized. Fortunately he recovered but doctor found a trace of recovering from pneumonia in his lung from CT scan image.
After the pandemic started, he just look back and remember that there were already some unsual things happening in Guanzhou back in November like demolishing and burying some facilities with area being totally off-llimit.
