Has anyone every changed language schools on an ED visa? The current school I'm with has become increasingly unprofessional during the past 4 months since I begun studying there. The story has two incidents that involve school staff that anyone would see as grounds for relocating. I am very keen to learn the language but not in this environment. Anyones personal experience with similar situations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I am about to make an investment in a rig...I have been researching/observing bitcoin for about 6 months now. I have now become fascinated by and addicted to bitcoin/altcoins and their markets. Now I only wish I had acted sooner. At first I just wanted to buy into the bitcoin market for holding investments but now I want to begin mining for myself and trading as you do. I'm in the process of setting up my laptop to mine peercoin. I have an Nvidia gt 640m capable of about 45 kh/s. From the calculations I did on coinwarz, I'll make about $250us anually...ha! I'm only doing this to become familiarized with the process from the bottom up. Its quite complex for the newb with limited computing knowledge but I'd rather not throw money at something I dont, at least, slightly understand. when I get comfortable enough with my knowledge, I have about 1000USD investment budget to start and was drooling over this for scrypt mining...
What do ya think? Also what is the best forums for newb miners to get general help and info with it all? I've seen soooo many but have no idea what ones are worth my somewhat limited time? Overwhelmed
Thanks for the info so far and happy mining.

One good thing about metal in Thailand, is you get to see these bigger bands that draw large crowds in other countries in smaller Bangkok venues. That's called intimacy....Vader at the Rock Pub July 18th bitches!

Check out Skeletonwitch in April if you can...great blackened thrash metal with a super high energy live show.
Also if you want a good site for all the upcoming shows, check out www.headbangkok.com

Also Mayhem is coming in mid january(we'll see if they make it as they are well known for canceling or missing shows) and a few days later Rotting Christ from Greece are playing...I will definitely trek from the north country for that one.
Havok and Desecration are playing BKK around that time too...

Hour of Penance from Italy is playing November 5 in Bangkok. Very good death metal with an outstanding drummer...Dammit, I would go if I wasn't working in Chiang Mai!

Bang-cock Death Fest is coming up on December 14th...not much intel on the line up yet. Also, Rotting Christ on January 28. Now that's what I'm talking about!

This summer has sucked for metal.

Thats great about all the punk/hardcore/nu metal shows. I dig some of it too...but we sure have strayed from death and black metal! Heard Suffocation is planning a South East Asian tour. Anyone care to get excited about that?

There is also this website.. www.thailandrockmetal.com
It's all in thai but if you can navigate to the forum, it has alllllll the upcoming shows. Local and international usually accompanied by a gig poster.

Disgorge(US) is coming in August. There is a killer metal shop in chatuchak market called Sick Chainsaws run by the drummer of some local black metal bands...it's pretty hard to find info online for Bangkok metal. Seems it requires real leg work. Like the old days

Surrender of Divinity and Zygoatsis are two very serious black/war metal bands stationed in Bangkok worth a listen. Obituary and Grave just played Bangkok a few months ago...Bangkok has the only real substantial metal scene in the country I have come across so far. Immortal bar is the place for local metal and probably a good place for info on this very underground subject. :
Problems with current language school

@Rc2702 I live in Bangkok around Major Ratchayothin so commuting anywhere along MRT line is ideal. I'm learning for business relations but unable to commit to a full time(20+ hours/per week) schedule at the moment. The current school has me at 8 hours per week. Concerned with these three things.
1-The visa transfer process as I'm currently on a ED visa at the 4 month mark.
2-The cost incurred to relocate.
2-A positive learning environment.
Obviously some things cannot be concluded from the forum but any feedback on alternative schools and the transfer process is welcome @poanoi
Thanks all
